I have been craving Japanese food for a while and asked a friend to join me. She recommended Koi Asian Fusion as it was her goto restaurant in the Brick area.
This was my first visit and we were there for an early dinner. The menu was very diversified but I was set on Sushi. I ordered a California Roll, Shrimp Tempura Roll and a Sweet Potato Roll and Miso soup. It was delicious. Everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. To top off the meal I had chocolate ice cream.
Our waiter, Joe was very friendly and helpful in choosing from the variety of food.
Next time you are looking to enjoy some Asian Fusion (Japanese) food I highly recommend Koi Asian Fusion Lounge at 25 Brick Blvd, Brick, NJ.

Restaurantji Recommends
This place has sort of a musty and tired feel to it. The staff, especially the owners or managers, seem very casual like they are in their living room. That is self doesn't bother me, but it might bother some people. The food quality was okay, it wasn't the freshest sushi I've ever had but it also wasn't the worst. The variation on the sushi deluxe like many other places today was just three or four different pieces served multiple times. They did give you a salad with the sushi dinner I think, or maybe it was soon, but it did come with something from what I remember.
Overall the experience was good, it wasn't hurried and they have some interesting decorations. But it looks more like a friend's living room and dining room versus a modern restaurant. Lots of knick knacks and little things that the owners like to display, again I like that sort of thing but others may not appreciate the decor.
It is BYOB and that's a nice feature, you could bring the sake or wine of your choice and you don't have to pay exorbitant prices like it other places. So if you're having a casual date or time out with a family I'd say it's a good pic.
I also like that they have many other asian fusion dishes on the menu... Not just a Japanese and sushi.
