The restaurant has a cozy, inviting interior with vintage art and comfortable seating, filled with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. The menu features traditional South American dishes, with an emphasis on beef. Entrees are generous, inexpensive, and come with two sides. The rib stew is the best in New Jersey, and the skirt steak, shrimp, and beef & chicken empanadas are highly recommended. While the corn cakes may not be to everyone's taste, the food is excellent—some of the best Colombian cuisine in NJ/NY. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere, with a friendly owner often present. Reservations may be necessary due to its popularity. The coffee is delicious, even without milk and sugar.
