The food was good, for example the rib stew is the best I've had here in New Jersey! 100% recommending. Regarding the Caribbean tray, they forgot the chorizo that was on the plate and it was time to remind them...

The service is good, the tamales are delicious, but they need to improve the empanadas and potato cakes.

Decided to tryout Mendoza’s Colombian Cafe in Brick. Food was not only excellent, it was probably some of the best Colombian food I’ve had. I’m Colombian and have tried many Colombian restaurants in NJ/NY and this place was a top 2. Along with plates for lunch, we also bought beef & chicken empanadas to go and they were also very good. Highly recommend this place if you want to have some of the best Colombian food in NJ.

I will do zero if there is an option. I ask for a milkshake, but they have flies all over. The milk and sugar containers were open full of flies as well. I requested to clean the blender with soap. The answer was no. Instead, he said to get a soda from the refrigerator. That guy looks like he is new on the job. That's the reason why I called him on the side. However, he didn't do it. But the worst was when I mentioned to the other guy who looked well trained, but he didn't care at all. Double mistake. It's not a place to come back.

I’m sorry but they have good breakfast that’s the only good thing about this, I live 40 minutes from the restaurant just to get the pan de bono and something else and they messed up my order TWICE, first time I was like okay, nothing bad, but second time I came and i was really disappointed, they said I have to wait 20 minutes for the pan de bono, the service was so awful, my experience.

Food was not good at all. The empanadas were mushy. The breads were burned on the bottom. Pressured to leave a 2nd gratuity after I left $3 gratuity on the Credit card purchase at register after my first purchase. And then shorted me change intentionally assuming it was more gratuity My second order was $15.04. I gave $20 and was given back $4. I said something & cashier laughed
