Had lunch there yesterday...food was absolutely absolutely delicious. Waitress (Ireland) was fantastic. Made our experience there not only comfortable but also enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Very disappointed with MJ’s in Brick. We were seated quickly, then completely ignored for 20–25 minutes—no server, no water, nothing. And then when a server did finally come over, they were the ones that seemed annoyed.
When the food came, we were overcharged, given no itemized receipt, and the salads that were supposed to come with the meals never arrived.
Service was disorganized and frustrating. We just wanted to leave, and this experience was bad enough that I want to warn others.

MJ's in Matawan is one of my favorite places to watch football; I have been going there for 9 years, great food, fun atmosphere and the bartenders are friendly and on top of things! MJ's in Neptune is another favorite of mine, the bartenders are helpful, friendly and the service is EXCELLENT. MJ's in Brick...I don't even know what to say. We have been there twice now on a Sunday and both experiences have been awful. On both occasions we sat at the bar. On both occasions we had the same bartender and she is the reason we will never return. She is not a nice person and the service was terrible. Its a shame because the food is very good and its a great place to watch sports. Five minutes down the road is another sports bar with food that isn't as great, but the bartenders are outgoing, friendly and provide top notch service, we now drive the extra 5 minutes.
