MJ's in Matawan is one of my favorite places to watch football; I have been going there for 9 years, great food, fun atmosphere and the bartenders are friendly and on top of things! MJ's in Neptune is another favorite of mine, the bartenders are helpful, friendly and the service is EXCELLENT. MJ's in Brick...I don't even know what to say. We have been there twice now on a Sunday and both experiences have been awful. On both occasions we sat at the bar. On both occasions we had the same bartender and she is the reason we will never return. She is not a nice person and the service was terrible. Its a shame because the food is very good and its a great place to watch sports. Five minutes down the road is another sports bar with food that isn't as great, but the bartenders are outgoing, friendly and provide top notch service, we now drive the extra 5 minutes.

Where do I start, the food was amazing as well as the service. Especially the very cute bar back Nick I think is what he said his name was. He has so much class all while being such a cute bar back. All while smiling with red roses cheeks he help me with everything. Overall amazing experience and Nick keep up the darn tootin good work.

The staff is kind and patient with people. I have trouble talking to people so I tend to talk slow or make mistakes but they always wait and don’t try to rush me or others. The food is also great I’m also I very picky eater so to find food at a restaurant that I actually like isn’t common but I like multiple things on the menu.

Their website directs to “grub hub” for order and delivery. My wife went to pick up our order and it was not ready. When she asked for the manager, she was told they don’t use grub hub and sent her away without doing the right thing. Either provide what was paid for or refund our purchase. Really liked their cheesestake sandwich too. We’ll never use them again and will tell our friends about this experience!!!

I’ve been here several times and the food is always top notch. Toni has always been attentive and kind. I love the atmosphere, lively and fun but not obnoxiously loud. Some of my favorite menu items include the Bavarian pretzel, the garlic bread meatball sliders, the drunken chicken parm, and the honey thai boneless wings. Their drinks are also really good, and are made strong😎
