We ordered a bowl and haven’t even touched it yet when my husband noticed a maggot right on top of the fruit. This was not only disgusting but extremely concerning from a health and cleanliness standpoint. We didn’t eat it at all and threw it away immediately. This completely ruined our experience. I’m posting this so others are aware, and I truly hope the location takes food safety more seriously going forward. Very disappointing!

SARA & LILIANA are the Reason xoxoxo Me not realizing the time walked in when in 3 minutes closing time..I saw the girls cleaning & putting everything away & realized it's closing time Thay insisted on serving Me ANYWAY without any hesitation!!! That alone deserves a Million Stars..They were the Sweetest duo..You are SOOO LUCKY to have these Beautiful Girls work at Playa Bowls Brick NJ.. I had an awful bowl at this location. The bananas weren’t ripe, there was barely any Nutella on the açaí, and there was not enough fruit on the top. I just think that I should’ve gotten the bowl I paid $14 for.
