One of the things that impressed us most was how thoughtful and gracious the entire catering team was. Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the care and attention they gave to every single guest was outstanding. We had several dietary restrictions to accommodate, including gluten-free, vegan, and a few food allergies, and they handled it all seamlessly. Every guest felt considered and taken care of, and no one had to miss out on an amazing meal.
What meant the most to us was how the staff went out of their way to make sure my husband and I actually had time to eat during the whirlwind of the day. They personally brought us plates and checked in on us to ensure we were fed and hydrated — something that’s so easy to forget in all the chaos, but so important.

It’s been a year since our wedding—a date meant to bring back joyful memories. Instead, we’re reminded of how close this day came to being a complete disaster, due in large part to the catering service we unfortunately hired.
From the outset, the experience was marred by unprofessionalism. The event coordinator repeatedly pressured the groom for last-minute payments, demanding cash on the spot with little flexibility or grace. On such an emotional and busy day, this was not only inappropriate—it was deeply embarrassing. We had to turn to guests for cash. No couple should be put in that situation on their wedding day.
The venue, supposedly reserved for a private event, was anything but. Uninvited individuals wandered in and out of shared bathrooms without restriction, as there was no visible effort by staff to enforce privacy or event boundaries.
Perhaps most disturbing of all: during the wedding mass—a sacred and intimate moment—the staff could be heard making noise and even laughing in the background, disrupting the solemnity of the pastor’s words and disrespecting the significance of the occasion.
The food was mediocre at best. While the desserts were passable, the overall presentation was uninspired and poorly suited for a wedding. The buffet setup was bare, lacking any sense of care or decorum. It felt rushed and thoughtless.
To make matters worse and as the evening neared its end, the staff began breaking down the event well before the scheduled time, noisily rolling carts through the venue. Guests took this as a cue to leave, cutting short what should have been a celebration that lasted into the night.
Shore Catering never reached out to ask for feedback—perhaps because they sensed how poorly things had gone. We, in turn, had no desire to re-engage.
Thankfully, the love and support of our friends and family salvaged the day. If there was one highlight from the vendor side, it was the wedding cake—which, not surprisingly, was made by a third-party bakery.
In short, we cannot in good conscience recommend this catering service. For any couple considering them for a special occasion: think twice. You deserve better.
