If you enjoy the inside of a gas station restroom, you’re in luck. This place is about as clean as that. However, I wouldn’t care if the pizza was good. Nope. I had a piece of Sicilian and a piece of regular. Tasteless sauce, poor quality cheese and a decent crust. Avoid this place like the plague.
On our continuous search for good eats at the Jersey Shore here’s yet another well worth a visit. Ignore the storefront look and you’ll be rewarded by really good Italian food at reasonable prices. Great bread to start, I had mussels with spicy red sauce and my wife had fried calamari, both were fresh, ample and very tasty. For our entrees, veal parm with ziti and veal francaise with a side of broccoli rabe. The francaise was slightly over lemoned but acceptable, my parm was thick and luscious. What happened next is what marks a first class eatery from the rest of the pack. We love broccoli rabe with an extra dose of garlic. Usually we specify that when we order the dish. This time we didn’t and when the dish arrived it lacked the punch that only garlic delivers. Within 5 minutes and out of nowhere comes the cook with a small pan of garlic/oil hot from the oven to pour over our rabe. The taste was outstanding but the gesture impressive. Maybe it was an oversight to start but nonetheless we were both impressed by this attention to detail. Lastly, we both ordered cappuccino and a piece of cheesecake for desert. The cheesecake was forgettable but the cappuccino was the very best we have had in years and in itself worth a visit. Definitely recommend and will revisit.
This pizzaria has excellent foodI, I like that they play italian music at dinner time. If you want a great dinner at a fantastic price try the 2 for $20 special, it comes with a drink and dessert. I have never had a bad meal at VR3 the owner Tony makes you feel like Family. Extensive meanie, daily specials and traditional Italian dinners at a great price and the pizza is out of this world and the bread is home made.
Via Roma III is located next to my favorite laundromat in Brick NJ. Initially, I went in for my usual slice of pepperoni pizza but notice the pepperoni and cheese bites, not sure of the exact name but they are so delicious. The bathroom and dinig areas are very well maintained
This place is highly underrated as seen in some of these reviews. Therefore, I wanted to take the time to write my own review. Go here from time to time with my uncle and aunt for dinner. They frequent this place and are friends with the owner. After again eating there last night with my wife, uncle and Aunt I have to say the food is fantastic. Always has specials for the night to choose from. Fried calamari appetizer was better then most highly regarded restaurants I’ve eaten at in the area. Had the mixed seafood over linguine special which was awesome. Also, my wife and aunt enjoyed the crab and shrimp ravioli special which tasted great. The owner made empanadas stuffed with ricotta and cannoli cream as a dessert and they were incredible. Also, had nice expresso to finish off the night. Bring a nice bottle of wine and enjoy the fantastic food this place has to offer. It’s much better then most places in the area.
I placed an order for the Rice Balls with Cheese. They tasted like they moped the floor with them! I had 2 bites and it also smelled funny, like moldy, i threw them away, and im praying i dont get sick! he needs to keep his food Fresh, and not leave out for 3 days! and stop serving old, smelly gross food, needless to say I will never order from them again! He is in urgent need of Gordon Ramsey, I never in my life ever tasted something so disgusting, This guy needs help, beware the rice balls
service food treated like family!AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA+++++++++++
We had a reservation arrived on time no one even acknowledge that we were standing there finally the manager looked at us and said are you waiting for a table we said yes after 20 more minutes and at least six different staff members walking past us we finally left so we never had a chance to taste the food nor would we go back poor experience.
The food here is very good. The owner is nice and has s nice menu with eat in available. We eat here often so bring the family!
This place has a complete menu, but it seems to sell more pizzas than anything else. We needed to pick up 4 pizzas for a family gathering, and they were close to our destination so that is how we wound up here. The pizzas were a bit too expensive in my opinion, but we had called ahead and ordered them without asking the price, so we just paid it and said nothing. The pizzas were OK, but certainly nothing special. If I am paying top dollar for my pizza, then I want a top-notch pizza. This pizza didn't make the cut. I probably won't be back.

First of all, I've passed this place many many times but never went in. just another pizza place, so I thought! yes it's a pizza place, small, just a few tables, but better food you can't find anywhere! we went with friends of ours, Nina and Greg. they've been there before and suggested we go there. everything made fresh and delicious! I highly recommend this family run restaurant. they treated us like family. sooooo good!
Everything on the menu is excellent but come hungry because you will get more food than you can possibly eat! Service and ambiance is superb and the owner, Paul, not only walks around and introduces himself, he makes sure everyone is happy and there are no complaints. Prices are very reasonable.
If you're looking for a nice quiet dinner very well priced food was good we bought a bottle of wine. we had an appetizer two entrées desserts and l could not believe how reasonable the prices were. the food was great the people that own the restaurant are very friendly. l would highly recommend it. We will definitely be going back
Your host is Tony, he is friendly and welcoming. He also does most of the cooking in the back. He will greet you, come to the table talk about the food that is on the menu and also recommend something he is cooking and would like to share with you. Sometimes his daughter Giovanna waits the tables she is friendly and efficient. Most Fridays, you will find us at Via Roma III! Many times we also bring our 2 year old Granddaughter - this is a child friendly restaurant. Also, you will always have food to bring home!!
I stopped here for the lunch special got the veal parm sub came with fries and soup . The soup had so much pepper in it had to dump it out the fries were ok but the sub deffinetly was not milk fed veal it was the worst veal I ever had would have taken back but did not have the time have and will be telling everyone how bad it was and I live in brick and I am a salesmen with a lot of customers in brick I will never go back there again
