Food was terrible. I asked for my burger to be well done. Came out raw in the middle and the patty was barely bigger then a half dollar coin. The bun was stale and hard.
My husband ordered the steak sandwich medium, came out tough as shoe leather.
I only took one bite of mine, he managed to eat a couple pieces of his. Instead of throwing a fit, we just paid the bill and left, but will never be going back. I think this place is more of a bar to get drinks at then an actual place for decent food.
My party of six ate here for the first time and we were all completely satisfied with our meals. We dined on burgers, pasta and salads. They were able to accommodate my children with kid size meals off the menu because they did not have a kids menu. The salad bar that is included with the dinner entrees is well stocked with a good variety of toppings and veggies. The dessert bar also has a nice assortment of pies and cakes. We will definitely be back to try some more items off the menu.
Food was awful
6/21/25 We were meeting our son’s girlfriend for the first time and invited her to dinner here. We were very disappointed with the service and the food, mainly the two orders of crab cakes, which contained asparagus inside, they did not taste good. Neither person liked or finished eating them.
1) Server was slow and neglected us many times. She didn’t put our food order in until she found out we weren’t eating from the salad bar.
2) The Salad bar is unsanitary. Patrons are handling the bread, utensils, plates and desserts without gloves. This is done to save money so the staff doesn’t have to do it.
3) For the money $125 The food and service was subpar.
4) We were embarrassed we chose this place for our first visit with someone we will not be back.
Food was really good
I didn't expect it to be such a fancy place. We made the mistake of bringing our little kids, no kids menu but the staff was nice and understanding. My wife and I had a pasta dish and a fish dish, both good but lots of garlic. The bar looked like they could make some really good drinks as well.
Had the Ribeye and was pleasantly surprised by the size. Was seasoned perfect and prepared a perfect medium rare.
Our daughter Nicole & her husband Lee took us here on a Friday night before Mother’s Day. The place was hopping! So I recommend reservations. We had passed here many times, but the outside isn’t updated so looks deceiving. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, my daughter’s lemon margarita looked amazing! They have a wonderful salad bar and dessert bar that had at least 10 dessert options! The salad bar was very good with a crusty seeded semolina loaf to die for! Plus they have the soft butter! 😜 not sure if that’s a good thing! We had a wonderful time! Ask for the dining room, we had table in bar area because we had no reservation, we didn’t mind but was somewhat noisy at times!
Good out standing
This was our 2nd time here and it was just as good as the 1st. We were a party of 4 on a Saturday evening. The restaurant is popular and fills up fast, so we made a reservation.
The service was excellent. We were greeted promptly. Our server was very attentive. Need another knife? No problem. Dropped a fork? A new one appeared magically.
The food was superb. I had the crab over angel hair. My 3 companions had crab imperial. We also had the self-serve salad buffet, which was continuously replenished.
The desserts are amazing. Also self-serve. There were at least 8 to choose from. 3 of us had a vanilla-strawberry cake (yum!) and one of us had bread pudding, which I was told it was delicious.
Pricing is mid-range. The dinner included the salad, dessert and a drink, which makes it an excellent value.
When the place is full, it can get a bit noisy. All we did was wait a minute for the laughter to die down. After all, we laughed too at times. ?
Parking: Parking is in the back of the restaurant. There is a back door you can enter.

Four of us went out to the Towne Tavern to celebrate my friend's birthday. We checked their website, and it said they opened at 11 o'clock in the morning. We arrived at 11:20.
We were the only people there at that time. So, I asked the waitress if they were ready for us. She hesitated. Then she said that she was the only person there. I asked if she'd be doing the cooking then. She told us no, that the cooks were there and they would cook.
I told her we checked the website and it said that they would open at 11 o'clock. She said, "Well, you're not wrong." She made us feel so unwelcome, as if we were inconveniencing her.
This was the place my friend had picked to celebrate her birthday. I suggested we go someplace else, but she wanted to stay, so we took our seats. The waitress brought us menus and left. She came back and started to collect the menus. She asked if we were ready to order. No, we weren't, so she gave us back the menus and left. When she returned with the drinks we were ready and she took our orders.
Other people started to arrive, and she told them the same thing she told us, "I'm the only person here." The other patrons asked. "Should we leave?" They were confused just as we were, by the ungracious greeting.
The food was delicious, and she was a competent waitress. Unfortunately, our experience was spoiled by the unfriendly welcome.
My friend likes the food and I will go back for her sake but I won't return on my own.

Edit. PLEASE CLEAN THE BLACK CHUNKS OFF OF YOUR GRILL!! Not always good. So greasy and black chunks in the cheese quesadilla and chicken this time. They did offer to remake but no offer for a refund. I'm so glad we tried this place! We did take out and ordered spaghetti and meatballs. 3 medium sizes homemade meatballs, tons of pasta, amazing seeded bread, a refreshing side salad, and a dessert?!? What more could you ask for? It was so good I forgot to get a Pic!!! But it was delicious! We also tried the chicken quesadilla and the Italian chicken Sammy. Wow, finally a place around town that is consistent and knows what they are doing! You get what you pay for! My new favorite place down here! Thank you!
