Was asked if I wanted my gyros spicy, said sure. At the end noticed I was charge an extra $1.50 for this. Employee didn’t mention this. Don’t deceive your customers. 0.75 for a shot of hot sauce is insane, ruined what could have been a good experience.

The food was great. I have had "typical" Mediterranean/ Middle Eastern platters with similar main ingredients (lamb, rice, salad) but I think Alex generally does it better with essentially more kick. Everything was made to order and the sauce and however the rice or meat was seasoned was great. It had a very tolerable and great spiced flavor.

Never really noticed this place until today, and WOW! The food is great. This is my first time trying a chicken gyro and it certainly won’t be the last time! Very flavorful and portions are generous. I was a bit confused on ordering, but the lady at the counter was very helpful! Service was quick. I definitely recommend this place!
It may be in the mall but its one of the best middle eastern restaurants outside of Paterson. I don't think you can get falafel with this kinda texture anywhere else in Central Jersey.
