Cafe Emilia is hands down the best Italian restaurant! First of all, the food is absolutely amazing. I grew up in a hardcore Italian family, so I'm very picky about my food and this restaurant is top notch. Literally the best eggplant rollatini and chicken parmigiana that I've ever had. The service was excellent. The owner went around greeting everyone and made sure everyone had what they needed. They went above and beyond to make me happy, even making us a meal that wasn't on the menu. They make you feel like family. You will not find a better Italian restaurant anywhere in this state. Exceptional!!

Wonderful food, creative menu, a bit expensive , very nice decor, but very noisy, had difficulty hearing my dining partners in conversation, excellent service, a mistake on the bill that was quickly corrected. Would visit again.

We made last minute reservations at Cafe Emilia - looking for someplace in the area to grab some dinner. We were very pleased. The food and service were outstanding. I couldn't stop eating my meal, which was a delicious veal marsala dish. They have a full bar, which was nice, since our dinner wasn't planned so we didn't have a bottle of wine with us. If I'm ever in the area again I will eat at Cafe Emilia again. I highly recommend this restaurant! Bread is very good too!
This was our second night in a row dining at this restaurant. It was so good the night before that we couldn't resist going back! We asked for the same waiter - he was so amazing the first night and he remembered everything that we ordered and our special requests. It felt like we were regulars after just two nights! We are only in the area once a year for business but can't wait to travel back next year and will definitely put this on our itinerary.

The service was great and the food was delicious. We sat on the quieter side of the restaurant and that was good. At the end the waiter brought us a homemade limoncello liquor on the house. Nice touch.

We had not been to Cafe Emilia in a number of years but decided to return on a Friday evening. Getting a table was easy and we were shown our table in short order. I ordered the Mozzarella en Carozza and my wife had a salad as an appetizer. The Mozzarella was basically a grilled cheese sandwich - not what I had been expecting. Dinner was a chicken special and the salmon in Balsamic. The chicken was okay, but the sauce was nothing special. The salmon was a bit overdone and the balsamic was supposed to have some cream but it looked and tasted like a standard reduction. The service was a slow a bit slow that evening. We understand that things happen and that this may not have been the restaurant's best performance. We also understand that we could have sent the dishes back but did not (so our fault here). Cafe Emilia has been around for many years and assume that ours was just a bump in the road
