This was our second night in a row dining at this restaurant. It was so good the night before that we couldn't resist going back! We asked for the same waiter - he was so amazing the first night and he remembered everything that we ordered and our special requests. It felt like we were regulars after just two nights! We are only in the area once a year for business but can't wait to travel back next year and will definitely put this on our itinerary.
The service was great and the food was delicious. We sat on the quieter side of the restaurant and that was good. At the end the waiter brought us a homemade limoncello liquor on the house. Nice touch.
We had not been to Cafe Emilia in a number of years but decided to return on a Friday evening. Getting a table was easy and we were shown our table in short order. I ordered the Mozzarella en Carozza and my wife had a salad as an appetizer. The Mozzarella was basically a grilled cheese sandwich - not what I had been expecting. Dinner was a chicken special and the salmon in Balsamic. The chicken was okay, but the sauce was nothing special. The salmon was a bit overdone and the...
