Great Italian restaurant, which is also a BYOB. Friendly staff with a nice extensive menu - appetizers, salads, pastas, meats, seafood and desserts, as well as daily specials.Nicely decorated with soft Italian music playing, busy but you can still carry on your own conversation. Plenty of parking in the lot. Reservations recommended.We started our meal with warm crusty bread and butter, followed by the calamari appetizer served with chopped tomatoes in a crispy taco shell. Then we had the veal entree which was to die for. Will definitely return.

Amazing entrees and desert...carrot cake....they must have ground the spices and made the ice cream fresh today! Wonderful service! dessert forks! We loved this restaurant and the folks who own and run it. Everyone is family here. We started with the signature calamari and moved on to pappardelle with short rib ragu and sea bass special. Delicious! Everything was prepared to perfection. We had a lovely conversation with Eddie and his brother. Definitely a repeat destination!

We love this restaurant - only negative was the steak (very dry ) and eggplant "tower" appetizer was very small (no tower at all). Staff is wonderful and pasta delicious !

We finally got to try this place out after having been to the owner's previous restaurant a block away. Unfortunately, like the previous restaurant, there's just a lack of warmness, charm, character and ambience. While the food is decent, it doesn't call you back for seconds and with a lack of ambience, it may be a while before we try it again.

Cafe Venezia is a great restaurant. The service is excellent the servers are a delight. The food... I NEVER disappointed. Love it!! I have taken multiple friends there and they too enjoyed the food and atmosphere. They said they would be back, hope it's with me too. ? I travel from Pittstown which is kinda a hike but it is very much worth the trip !!! Highly recommend
