Fantastic chicken! I’d say wet batter style. Crispy shell, steamy tender meat. Seasoned well, but not spicy (usually covers up poor technique). Similar in combination of flavor and texture to great SoCal joints like Golden Bird in Ladera Heights (closed) or Honey’s Kettle Fried in Culver City. Delicious! I also had the fried okra… nice chunky bits and well breaded, and the Mac and cheese… classic creamy style rather than baked. Took my extras back to the hotel for breakfast.

It felt like a fried chicken 🍗 night so we didn't have to think about dinner.
4 kids 2 adults so I got a 32 piece tray. Can I tell you that was some of the best fried chicken I've had in years. Fresh and hot, well seasoned, and packaged well. Highly recommend 👌

My wife knew about this place because she grew up in Hillsborough. The flavoring on the chicken is second to none!! Big pieces and served fresh! Their sides are great too. The gravy on the mashed potatoes is flavorful!
