This place was amazing! We had the flounder francese and the veal parm. Both were excellent. It was the best flounder francese I ever had. The focaccia bread was also excellent. I could have made a meal out of the focaccia and dip alone. The restaurant was well appointed and the owner was very attentive. Bocelli playing in the background just added to the experience. We can't wait to go back and try other dishes. The prices were comparable to other restaurants however the one disappointment was the extra credit card fee. Food prices are high enough and the customer already has to subsidize the service, now we are forced to pay for credit card fees. It's not easy to always carry cash.

My husband and I found this gem of a restaurant a couple of years ago and it's worth the trip for us to return often. We have never been disappointed. The food and the presentations are a work of art and beyond delicious. The owner greets us each time as if we were family and he is always present. He goes over the massive list of daily specials, and alters orders upon request. The food is top quality and the menu and the specials are expansive and extraordinary!

Delicious Italian food! In addition to great main courses we ordered two appetiser specials, bang bang shrimp and Italian wedding soup and we both were thrilled with our choices. We met the restaurant's owner, Ben, and he and the young man who was assisting him, took good care of us. I look forward to going again.

Yesterday evening, 18 members of our immediate family, and my wife and I, celebrated my wife’s special birthday at DOLCE BENE in Martinsville. Everything was ordered off the menu. I had met with BENE, the proprietor, beforehand to go over basic details of my wife’s special night. I don’t usually review restaurants, but felt compelled to let the reading public know how outstanding this meal was. BENE and his staff could not have been more accommodating and gracious. Each dish was impeccably and beautifully presented and was absolutely delicious and unique. I cannot thank these people enough for making this special evening even more special for my family. I recommend DOLCE BENE to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience in every respect.

went here for my best friends birthday dinner. The food was amazing. I had three cheese ravioli. no one at my table disliked thier food.it was all perfect. the service was great very attentive and friendly. desserts were also so good. The vibe was very cozy, i liked that they had dim lights in there it wasnt to bright. I will defintley be back with my husband again.
The caverelli dish said it had tomatoes....instead nontomatoes and they put it. White beans, which isn't listed on the menu. My son is allergic to beans. Inexcusable mess up.

Little gem in the middle of Somerset County. Came here as a large group for dinner after an event. The decor is simple but projects family atmosphere just like lots of Italian trattorias.
Food is simple but taste great. One would need to listen to the specials because unlike most places I've been to they are actually good! This time around the Lamb Osso Bucco was to die for. Service is top notch including handling some very strange ordering requirements from our very large group.
Overall a great place to visit although a wine list may be better then BYOB for the restaurant style.

We have been dining in Dolce Benet since it has opened and the food has always been outstanding. Benny, his brothers and Tutti take very good care of their customers. They will accommodate any change you would like on your order and take pride in giving everyone a wonderful dining experience.
I should have written this long ago and our excellent dinners last night prompted me to write this as they are so deserving and such hard workers who want to please their customers.
Our shared appetizer of garlic shrimp and toast was so delicious with large shrimp and wonderful saucy bread and we left not a crumb behind. Our pork chop and shrimp entrees were so generous and out of this world delish.
We are away frequently but Dolce Benet is always at the top of our list when we return.
