Just Some Guy with a Mustache

As my introduction to Indian food, it is very good. I don't usually eat lamb dishes, but the lamb wasn't gamey nor dry. Even if you're not used to spicy food, there are still options for you.

We are from Arizona and visiting family in NJ. We were looking for yummy local places to eat when we passed by this gem: the food is AMAZING. So delicious, I love that they use bigger pieces of paneer and their garlic naan is addictive. I have my leftovers in the fridge and cannot wait to get home and heat them up!If you're in the area and looking for delicious food, hit them up for sure.

Maybe we landed at the wrong time, but that still does not excuse the taste. Horribly spicy and that too not balanced. Oily. Couldn't recognize the taste of anything. Total of 2÷ hours on a meal, that too served sequentially. Need more staff, more space, different recipes and different chef.

Amazing hole-in-the-wall restaurant. The owner is super friendly and the food was amazing! My new go to Indian place in the area.

Great Indian food! Usually get the chicken tiki masala and some garlic naan on the side. The flavor of the food is terrific and mouth watering. Exactly what I was looking for! Been here a couple times already. Not really an inviting place to dine in at. More like a pizza place inside not a restaurant. Recommend pick up only. Cans of soda is more expensive than any other place I've been to. At $2.50 its a little ridiculous!

This was my favorite local Indian place since they opened, it was amazing even during peak Covid lockdowns when it was only to-go. There is new management, and while they did seem friendly the food was garbage. I was very upset because I came here often and really loved it, whoever this new management is ruined the food, I want the old management back :(

Amazing food. It is currently under renovation though. Someone should pick up the phone and tell this or Google should be updated.Have tried paneer vegetable, chilli owner and dosa - all good.

The flavors are mild and decent. Nothing extraordinary considering the nearby competition. We tried their signature Thalappakattu chicken biryani and Hyderabadi chicken dum biryani. The Thalappakattu biryani is mild in spice yet packs some nice flavors. Chicken dum biryani is better with the neighboring restaurants. The saalan that's served with the biryani however is amazing. If you prefer food that won't burn your taste buds then give this one a try. I am still hoping to try more Tamilian local specialties here, so I look forward to that.

Just picked up food from the first time and extremely disappointed in the quality of dosa. All three dosas are completely burnt. Shocked that someone thinks this is ok.Avoid this restaurant

Best indian food and nice people! Authentic taste and very clean cooking. Dosa chatney and sambar was amazing as well as chili paneer and other items! Chicken and fish are so tender and well seasoned and well cooked! Lasi is nice and authentic too!

I like the taste of food we ordered except one dish. We ordered all vegetarian dishes. Palak Paneer, Paneer Tikka Masala and Malai Kofta was delicious, but Veg Biriyani was not good. I will visit this place again during my stay in NJ, but will not order Veg Biriyani for sure.

Ordered special chicken biryani and apollo fish. Thrower away in the garbage. Quality of chicken and fish is terrible. It was not fresh and rubbery feel. The prices are too high. Better avoid this place.

It looks like it is a small, not high quality, and messy, but when you sit down the first thing you might see is the sheet of all the President's in the world! Then they have indian music playing on a screen. When they take your order, it is quite casual. The food is where it beats any doubts. The assorted naan basket was a delight. All fresh dough and crisp baked. Malai kofta was creamy, right in texture, flavor in taste. I was apprehensive while ordering it. Saag Paneer was equally good. Dosa was a real delight when devoured with two different chutneys. The ambience is not for dining specifically if you have family, so my five stars are based solely on food and attentive service. Will order any day and return for the dinning.

We ordered for takeout via GrubHub. Chicken Korma, Lamb Saag, Gobi 65, and Papadam, and everything was delicious. The two curries came with rice placed into one aluminum container. Since my wife and I were eating in the car, I asked for another order of rice for an additional two dollars--no biggie as this makes it easier to eat and we were able to share all the dishes with each of us eating from the two rice containers. The woman who helped me was very nice and added two sets of utensils after I told her we were eating in the car.
