So...honestly, this is overall just a no for me. Maybe it was an off night but, not so sure based on the fact that at 730 PM we were the ONLY people in the building.

Walk in - greeted by young woman at host stand who seats us. Start to peruse menu - she brings back water and informs us that they can only do Mexican tonight because the Italian chef is out. I mean...presumably sauce is pre-prepped and pasta is certainly easy to cook, as is pizza, but okay - no problem, we're easy.

I order a chicken fajita, wife orders shrimp fajita, son orders chicken burrito. Off to the kitchen goes the order...and again, lookin around, not another soul in the place. We hear a bunch of banging from the kitchen - not sure if the chef was in a bad mood because he/she had to cook or what, but that went on for pretty much the whole time we waited. We're not talking a little noise, we're talking slam CRASH of stuff just being chucked about. Weird, but ok.

Food comes out. Some oddities. Fajitas come with sour cream, guac, pico, lettuce, rice. Everything is on a side plate except guac which is just flopped on top of the burning hot meat, so it's rapidly turning into guac colored meltdown. I don't think I've ever, in all my years of eating fajitas, seen as lean a serving of both sour cream and pico - like, less pico than you could put into a shot glass (worth mention: they also serve pico with their chips rather than salsa...again, weird). Fortunately I don't use sour cream anyway.

Dig in and notice that while the plate looks good, there's not much small and almost no flavor at all. I NEVER add salt to food when I'm at a restaurant, but had to here. Went to ask for hot sauce - couldn't find anyone to ask. 5 minutes later was able to track down the hostess to ask for hot sauce and am given...a tiny to-go cup of hot sauce. Again, weird, but whatever.

Wife and son both also reported well cooked but tasteless food. No seasoning at all - even the beans, which were precooked, were completely bland. Portions were generous but had no desire to even try to finish.

Then the kicker. Burrito, two fajitas, and one fountain ginger ale? 76 dollars.

Again, maybe it's an off night, maybe they do more pizza/italian than they do Mexican but, I don't plan on finding out - I won't be back. Highway robbery price wise and a chef who doesn't use seasoning? Nah. I'm good. Best of luck to them, but I suspect this will end up being yet ANOTHER restaurant that fails in that location.

We have gotten take out and we have dined in. It's been great every time. The Freddy's Pizza is one of our favorites! Give this place a try if you haven't already. We recommend:
- Freddy's Pizza
- Chicken Francese
- Calamari
- Garlic knots

Nice sized servings and great value.

Disappointed I did a prior review where I said I liked Pat's. This time we had a larger party ( 8 of us instead of 2 couples ) and our waitress was awful and difficult refusing to serve a dish I had there prior. Chicken Saltimbocca with a side of pasta with red sauce. Perhaps since I pushed back a bit on her my salmon arrived uncooked and had to go back. I will no longer schedule large parties there and may pass on going back at all. Our bill came to over $250 so I was surprised they weren't more flexible. Too bad ?

Parking: Plenty of free parking.

We have done take out as well as dining in. Last night I had Chicken Saltimbocca. The chicken was tender and the sauce was fantastic. My wife had Tilapia Franchise with crab legs. She raved about it. The portions are large and well presented. We’re having leftovers tonight. The staff is welcoming and attentive. I hope word gets out and this restaurant succeeds.

Kid-friendliness: We had a three year old and two one year olds with us. The staff was very friendly and accommodating with them.

Oh my goodness, finally a fabulous restaurant has taken over this convenient location!! Enjoyed the Chicken Franchese, it was so moist and delicious! The mashed potatoes are to die for, so creamy! Also, we had the salmon with a wonderful veggie medley, so flavorable! And the warm garlic bread was very special! The portions are generous and the meal is tasty and healthy!! Service was great, especially Maydelin! We sat outside and the weather was perfect! Inside and outside there is nice background music. It's a BYOB restaurant and they were very accommodating with glasses, ice and more. And don't forget the dessert! OMG!! Amazing!!! Patricia, your restaurant is a winner!!
