Food is good here have been going to this Sarku for a while… but to the older woman who works the front on Thursday afternoons… you work in customer service just an fyi and you should never been rude or say the word no to paying guests…. Especially if you want people to tip you. But the lady that was expoing the food was very nice, maybe she deserves a promotion since she knows how to actually handle guests in busy hours.

No vegetarian or vegan options. Otherwise reasonable food for it essentially being slightly fancy fast food.

Back when I was a wee teeny bopper, my favorite parts of lurking around Bridgwater mall was the Sarku Japan sample lady giving out bites of tantalizing teriyaki chicken. Well, clearly those foundational years have successfully secured my lifelong addiction and our family comes here often, despite the less convenient location. Fast easy and always tasty, we usually grab a few sushi rolls too. A hit with the kids, even the vegetables part. Sarku will always have a special place in my stomach.

May revisit again but limited dishes
Horrible horrible place to go. They had/have specials with buying (x) amount of chicken teriyaki dinners and get one free then don’t honor them. I had THE worst experience here. Please don’t patronize this place. They are horrible people as well with real bad attitudes. Wish I could rate them negative stars.

Got the shrimp teriyaki bento to go. Order was ready when I arrived to pick up. The process was quick but I had to go back to get soy sauce since it was not pre-packed. The gyoza and sushi rolls were tasty. The shrimp teriyaki was ok. The veggies were rather bland. Meal was filling but they need to up their game on overall taste.

You see that bright green fluorescent object in my vegetables? Yeah that’s exactly what you think it is - plastic. I am so beyond disgusted I have no words. Look at how it blends in with the food. I’m disturbed by the fact that the food was cooked with plastic, I’d imagine some of it melted in, but also just how large that piece is. And how many pieces did I even ingest before I noticed it? Genuinely abhorrent. And it’s not like they stopped to throw out the rest of the vegetables, they just kept using that batch. So what about everyone else? I feel sick.

I recently visited this place and had a disappointing experience. The food was not up to standard; it was overcooked and lacked quality, making it difficult to enjoy the meal. Additionally, the customer service left a lot to be desired. Both cashiers and the staff handling food were noticeably rude and unhelpful when I asked for utensils, which made the experience even worse. Unfortunately, with this combination of poor food quality and subpar service, I won’t be returning.
