My wife usually go to the Cheesecake Factory next door, but decided to try Uncle Julio’s. It was early for dinner time, so we were seated quickly, and served quickly as well. The waitress was polite, but seemed to lack some confidence in her role. The reason for my low score is that I saw two (yes two) mice running across the wall. It may have been the same one twice, but the fact is that we saw it. We didn’t freak out. These things can happen. Although, it’s the first time I personally see this in a restaurant. We reported the incident to the waitress. She told us she would tell the manager, but we never heard back about it. I was surprised that no one came back to apologize. Beyond that, like some one else commented, the food was quite bland. Finally, when it was time to pay, they gave us a device to pay with. I’ve done this before at places like Chilis, but Uncle Julio’s didn’t appear to be as casual a restaurant so paying from a terminal at the table just seemed off.tried to leave my comments on that terminal and even that device barely worked. We were hoping for a different experience, but we won’t be returning.

We been at this mall many times out of the area . Always went to Cheesecake Factory. We left feeling it was ok but not worth what we paid . Would not go back, better Mexican restaurants near us a wider menu.Nice decor. They are overpriced and thrifty on some of their common drinks and food.I was told afterwards if we wanted another flavored lemonade we have to but another,No refills? At $3.75 per lemonade. Wow?Iced tea , yes. I got a very small refill cup to go. Larger cup may have set them back I guess?Because it came from the bar?Cheesecake Factory next door has as good or better drinks and would bring your refill without asking. From the bar also!Fajitas only three tortillas with a nice portion of meat and accessories,We used the fajitas and would have to buy more? Really?Pork was very fatty as if they did not bother to separate the fat?Chips were very oily.Paid a good amount more $$ as would have at other Mexican restaurants. This place could close and not be missed. The place is not busy, that’s not a good sign.Cheesecake Factory much more satisfying!

Great Mexican Food. A bit pricey but worth it. Portions are decent. The new red salsa is a big improvement over the original brown salsa which we didn’t like. We will be back.

We came here for a birthday and left feeling disappointed. It took a long time for the cocktails to come out, as well as the food. The waiter was attentive and kind, continuously apologizing for the wait but proceeded to bring chips and salsa every few minutes, although we had not finished the last serving yet. It felt like he was trying to cover up the fact that the food was taking so long to come out but by the time it did, we were stuffed from eating the chips. I ordered a chicken bowl which was average, with not much spice or flavor.

The meals here didn't have a lot of flavor. Kind of bland. The tortillas chips and spicy salsas were very good. The regular salsa was very poor tasteless. The churros dessert was also disappointing. They had no sugar and cinnamon on them. The chocolate dip was good. The caramel not so good it was very watery.

Good food that could be so much better. We didn’t see a waiter for 15 minutes. They manager came out to say sorry and gave us chips and salsa and water. The drinks were good but the food came out cold and to be desire. We are spending a lot of money why can’t we get good food and service. Also a waiter dropped a knife on the ground didn’t pick it up and servers were going back and fourth ignoring the knife on the ground for a good ten minutes.

I like their fajitas and drinks but I don’t think this location is going to last once Fogo de Chao opens. My wife and I stopped by around 6:30pm on a Sunday night for a quick meal and drinks. They had over a dozen empty tables, and told us there was a 25 minute wait (??) - I questioned it and they said they had reservations. Left and walked into Cheesecake - seated immediately. Our guess is they’re understaffed and would rather turn customers away than provide slow service.

It’s been over a year since my original review and I believe they are under new management now because this is now one of my wife and I’s favorite restaurants to go to. The service has gotten worlds better and the food and drinks are still great. Highly recommend now.Original review:The food and drinks were delicious but the service was awful. What’s sad is there were clearly individuals who worked hard but there was no excuses what clearly seemed to be a culture issue. There were 2 managers/supervisors, 9 waiters/waitresses, 2 bartenders, 3 hostesses, and 3+ busters and at all times half or more of them were in a corner chatting and not working. Normally I would care but we were there for 2 hours and it took 1.5 hours to get water, only had our drinks ordered as we sat down, and we had to steal silverware and napkins from another table 1 hour in. I wish I could chalk this up to a person’s bad day but it clearly wasn’t.

This is how they serve guacamole for delivery order. Completely brown. Nice for Tex mex

This is a fancy tex mex spot in the middle of bridgewater mall. They start you with chips and salsa which seemed fresh but could have been spicier. The sangria was sweet and not too strong. The guacamole was not tableside and lacked alot of spice. We got 2 kids' meals, which were HUGE! They come in a bento box like a plate. It offers an entree, chips, and a queso/ guac and a wide selection of sides to choose from. I ended up getting the chicken fajita. It was well seasoned, a large portion size, and came with ample sides. The cheese and onion enchiladas were also very tasty and definitely had a tex mex taste. The only issue I had was the service! They forgot 1 order, and they also forgot about the tortillas for the fajitas. Another cool part is that you can watch all the fresh tortillas being made.

Ordered a $20 chicken quesadilla for takeout, had almost no chicken on it. The rest was completely tasteless. Stick to local spots, this place wasn't worth the money.

Very busy restaurant. Can get loud. Food is average, small portions, high prices. They rely alot on younger, inexperienced staff. Had to ask for water, salsa etc. Drinks were good but pricey. Lots of families w young children.Parking: At the mallKid-friendliness: Lots of kids
