Stopped in for dinner. They never disappoint. Food is fabulous. Cozy little place. Always an excellent meal. Tried the steak au poivre and my date went with the Chicken Parmigiana.

This was my grandparents favorite restaurant. I don’t remember going much as a kid and I definitely couldn’t write reviews then but we recently went over the weekend and it was delicious. The service was fabulous and they were amazing at adhering to my celiac needs! I’m Italian so not being able to have bread, breadcrumbs and flour isn’t easy! They made me grilled shrimp parm with vodka sauce over GF pasta. It was excellent. Everyone else loved their dishes as well. The mussels were also 10/10! The price is right for good italian food.

My first time here. The Baked Shells were very good. The sound level this particular night was officially the loudest restaurant I have ever been in. I'm giving two stars for this reason for atmosphere but when I was drinking my ice tea there was a miller bottle top in the bottom of my glass that thankfully did not get lodged in my throat. I showed the waiter immediately and he simply smiled and came up with a theory as to why or how it got into my drink. Never took the glass to show management. Well they still charged me for the ice tea. Did not offer a replacement. Ki Profit over safety and customer service. Never again. Too risky.

The food was very good. Clam appetizer was very fresh. Two of us had the halibut oreganata special which was excellent. My wife had the linguine malafemmina (clams, shrimp, lobster), also excellent. The house chianti was fine and a good pour for $10. It was $280 for 3 ppl, which was fine based on the food (we had 3 glasses wine between us). What was irritating was being charged $4 for every soft drink refill. It's not like you got a 20 oz. tumbler full of coke. It was a wine glass full of ice. No free refills on soft drinks when it's $280 for 3 ppl is weak and a money grab. Cannoli was a 'B''

We had dinner here Friday night. It took 80 minutes for the food to come out. The waitress stopped by twice to tell us it would be right out. No apologies. no round of free drinks. nothing to make us feel better about the situation. If they would have done something nice to make us feel better about the wait it might have eased the pain a bit.
The pasta fagioli is white and at first I was hesitant. I can say it is in top 3 best I have ever had. Beyond delicious. There is some constructive feedback however. I went to drizzle some table olive oil in the soup and the oil was flavorless, literally. A little upsetting when penne vodka costs $28 and saltimbocca costs $30, no salad, no pasta. You would think a good EVOO would be on the table for dipping bread, soup, etc. Otherwise, the food is really, really good!!

I'm not one to write reviews, but I want to encourage Due Amici to make some simple changes that would make a big difference. Temperature in restaurant was cold. Menu is overly complicated, and long, and hard to understand. Getting a side order of pasta became an ordeal. The food does not disappoint, but after a long meal, with a good amount of waiting, we exited the restaurant and not one of the four (yes, 4) staff members at the front podium looked up to our group to smile and say thank you. It's the little things. The food, as I said, is terrific.
