I don’t often write reviews, but I do so when I feel it is warranted. As a restaurant manager at an upscale restaurant in Red Bank, my standards for service, food quality, and ambiance are extremely high due to my experience in the industry. I have always set a high bar when it comes to dining out.
My boyfriend and I consistently choose La Mondina for our date nights, and here’s why: in today’s economy, dining out can be expensive, so I want to ensure that I am getting my money's worth. We prefer to sit at the bar, where Mark has been absolutely outstanding. He is both knowledgeable and charismatic. There is also a short, strawberry-blonde bartender whoI met during my second visit, and she is a pleasure to interact with as well.
La Mondina ranks among my top three restaurants in New Jersey. Hats off to the management and ownership for providing such a wonderful establishment.

My boyfriend and I are first timers at La Mondina. Both of us left happily and well fed! Justin, the bartender at the back bar, took a really good care of us. We are very happy with our service. ALSO! The food is delicious 🤤 definitely going back! 10/10 recommend!✨✨ i personally love the espresso martini 🍸 ☕️we had 3!!!!

It's a wonderful restaurant for most people....I feel the food is very heavy, most dishes have some sort of cheeses, or creams, or burrata....not my style....my wife is crazy about the place, service is excellent....it's also a very loud and noisy place and some people like that....its just not for me....you definitely need reservations...I've been there twice and imo, for the prices they charge, I expect better....but this is just my opinion....try it out and see for yourself....

Very disappointed in the Par LaFreida dry-aged, ribeye steak. At $85, the most expensive entree. While cooked to my liking, the steak was tough, chewy and just not good. La Mondina has a very high-end attitude, but the quality of this dish was the furthest thing from high-end.

Very deceiving from the outside, doesn't look that big but it very clean and spacious inside, compete with upstairs banquet room. Creatively and beautifully decorated- service was phenomenal 👏......everything we ordered was very good....!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ La Mondina in Brielle is absolutely amazing! We came to celebrate my younger sister’s 19th birthday, and everything from start to finish was perfect. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and elegant — the perfect spot for a special night out.
The food was outstanding, from the tender, flavorful squid to the rich and perfectly cooked veal parmigiana. You can taste the quality and care in every bite.
Our waiter, Shawn, made the evening even better with his friendly, attentive service. He truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time.
We left with full hearts and full stomachs, already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!
We sat at the bar in the back. Our server was the sweet, fabulous, and helpful Nia. The interior and decor are stunning; however, the place is loud! We will be back.

I recently had my sister bridal shower in the banquet room and it was absolutely stunning. I cannot recommend this restaurant anymore not only for the beauty of it, but the staff and food were absolutely amazing. I had the pleasure of working with Brianna, the event coordinator, and she was so receptive and responsive. She was so accommodating to anything I asked. The team itself was incredible. Anytime we asked for anything, they were on top of it. Highly recommend for an event!!

Food was fantastic, serving staff couldn’t have been any nicer or better trained, decor is beautiful. It is an experience, so they don’t rush you, plan on a min of 1.5 hours. But the pace is nice for a relaxing and really good meal!
