Service could have been better. Excellent selection of food and tasty specials. Highly recommend getting the mini donut desert. Decorated very nicely for the holidays, would recommend the trip over!

Doesn't get better than this at the shore. Great restaurant by any standard, actually. Everything is great, although it is a tad noisy but this (slight) criticism is coming from an old guy, so consider the source. It certainly doesn't stop me from going.

Year number three of having my holiday party here for T&T Coast. Brianna and her team delivered. Food was awesome as always. If your a company considering this place for an event don't hesitate. Had 80 people and the room was great.

Beautiful setting for an amazing meal. We were four couples and six of us had the pork chop and it was delightful. We were a bit of a boisterous group but our server provided impeccable service. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Dining at La Mondina was nothing short of enchanting. Each moment, from the first sip of our expertly crafted cocktails to the final bite of dessert, felt like a journey through culinary bliss. The charred octopus was tender, smoky, and layered with flavors that danced on the palate. And the eggplant fritta—what a revelation! Though I don't usually enjoy eggplant, this dish could turn anyone into a believer.
My companions each raved about their dishes, and my pork chop scarpariello was no exception. Juicy, bursting with flavor, and cooked to perfection, it was more than I could finish—a generous and satisfying portion. We completed the evening with Bombolini, warm cinnamon-sugar donuts that melted in the mouth, each bite more comforting than the last.
Our server, Toni, was a delight—warm, efficient, and incredibly knowledgeable, elevating our experience even further. The only minor drawback was the parking, which can be a bit tricky on a bustling night (which, of course, is an indication of a popular and successful restaurant).

Great restaurant. The interior is super subtle and sexy. The food is spot on. The service was excellent. The relaxed atmosphere blends very well with such tasty dinner options. Our whole table had different stuff and everyone was very satisfied. The wine was great and our server was very knowledgeable & helpful. This will definitely be a regular restaurant to visit in the Spring Lake Heights vicinity.

We have never driven over an hour to another state, just to have a meal. Upon arrival it was a very busy Saturday night scene. Bartenders were slammed but efficient. Everyone was super friendly and our server Maggie made our evening a memorable experience. The food was superb. Everyone at our table of 6 agreed this was the best meal we’ve ever had in all of NJ and La Mondina was worthy of another hour + drive to enjoy again. Thanks for a wonderful evening!

I need to express my frustration with La Mondina regarding an unresolved gift card issue and poor customer service. Last year, I purchased a $100 gift card for my parents’ anniversary, but I later discovered only $50 was charged. After bringing this to the front desk’s attention, they issued an additional $50 gift card and charged me once more, supposedly totaling $100.
When my parents tried to use the gift cards, they were informed by the waitstaff that one of them was not working. Initially, the staff suggested it was my parents’ fault, despite my having receipts and bank statements to confirm the charges. After multiple calls to the manager, I was assured that the issue was resolved since my parents had used the other card during their dinner.
Now, after a year, my parents faced the same problem during their recent visit, the second time they decided to spend their anniversary there. They requested to speak with the manager, Nick, who did not have the decency to come out and address them, claiming he was in a meeting (during a major dinner rush? Highly unlikely). This lack of accountability and poor communication is unacceptable.
I called to follow up this morning, but no one answered the phone. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I cannot recommend La Mondina due to their inefficient management and customer service. We were scammed out of $50 because of their incompetence.
