Our server was very good. We were seated in a corner which was perfect for conversation. I have been there at times when it has been very noisy. I was disappointed in my meal. I ordered the pasta with white clam sauce. I had asked it to be prepared without the chili flakes, and it arrived with the chili flakes. The server had the kitchen make it again. I have had it in the past and clams in the shell were on the pasta, this time there were no clams. There were chopped clams . I just didn't think the quality was up to its usual standard. The Shipwreck Grill is one of my favorite restaurants. I will go back. This might have been just an off day.

Great food and great service. I little loud but not an issue. Had a drink and app at bar then sat for dinner. Drinks were excellent. Highly recommend.

when it starts off with your waitress with a big beautiful smile and looking so happy, it's going to be a great dinner! And it was for all 6 of us BUT, i'm a dessert food junky! If you love pistachio cake , this is the one you DO NOT pass up! It's not just a slice of cake. It's made in house. It's 5-6 inches wide , there's a dollop of pistachio mousse in the middle and it's inside the center of cake as well ! With a scoop of pistachio ice cream with sprinkles of chopped pistachio over it. OMG it was fabulous! Thank you to the waitress for re assuring me how delicious it will be! Give Jamie a raise! She's a keeper !

Opentable Diner

I had a ribeye that was charted on one side and undercooked on the other side with no flavor at all. Do not think any seasoning was applied. We got the veal chop special that it was told to us was incredible from everybody as we were sitting at the bar when we got it. We were told that we got the last one. It was the size of a Lamb chop. It was tiny but still painful Price. The ones at the bar were about 5 to 6 times the size of the one that we received. Overall poor experience.

We be always been a great fan of shipwreck grill until last night. From the greeter who failed to pick up her head from texting to the noice, the tired decor and mediocre dinner, we are done with this venue

Never been there before, and was pleasantly surprised. The drinks, apps, entrees and desserts were all very good, as was our server, Danielle. Pricy, but what isn't any more.

Excellent food experience. Freshest seafood prepared with care to get the best flavors. Service was outstanding. Little loud at peak times, but when isn't a peak time. Restaurant and bar almost full at 4:30pm. You better have a reservation. Highly recommended and may well be in my top 25 restaurants in the world. This owner/chef certainly knows what he is doing! Save room for desert.

Shipwreck Grill is still one of the premier dining establishments at the Jersey Shore. Food, service, and overall experience is top notch. Quality of food and service is excellent. Never disappoints .

Food drinks and service always the best! No one makes a better martini with blue cheese olives. The coconut shrimp special was absolutely amazing.

Overall very good...we love it there! However, for the first time, my husband's pork chop was somewhat dry ( ordered medium) and my halibut was very salty ( and I love salt!) Our server Danielle was wonderful all the way around! And super delish watermelon cosmos! Next time we'll have something different as our entree!
