Went there Saturday for Happy Hour. I had the burger and the wife had the grilled cheese on sourdough bread. My burger was tasty, when I finished my wife gave me 1/2 of her grilled cheese and I was like wow, it was better than my burger. I will be going back soon just to get another grilled cheese sandwich.Also notable they have a fuller whiskey list than many places in the area, I tried the Blanton, then Mitchers on the rocks. Wife had some tasty cocktails. We also tried the candied bourbon bacon, it was also good.Bottom line is we will be back.

Was there with my family for dinner. Our server was very sweet & did her best. Our food took a long time to arrive, not sure what the problem was but at least the food was good when we did get it!

Our group of seven had a really enjoyable and relaxing evening. Everyone raved about their meals. The food was delicious, including the desserts, and the portions very generous. My fellow diners had the Nachos, the Waterman's Crab Cakes, the SHORT RIB CHEDDAR MAC AND CHEESE, the Tavern Pie, and our vegan friend had the Crispy Brussel Sprouts (minus the bacon). For desserts, we had The Skillet and the creme brulee. Everything was prepared beautifully and the plates were full of colorful foods. Our server was great. She was attentive and friendly. A great night. I'll be back for sure because there are several dishes I want to try!

First time here. As a family of four, we were very impressed with our brunch there yesterday. The food was prepared very well. Great flavor. Great service. Easy parking. Nice, clean interior.

Solid atmosphere although a little dark. Large accommodating bar with lots of booths. Weekday specials are definitely the savior here both for drinks and food. Draft list is mostly domestics and used to be much better. The app specials are great for the quantity of food and everything was delicious (try the nachos!). Menu is very Celiac friendly and has tons of gluten free options (even pizza!)

Open table reservation was not received at restaurant but we did get a table. Understaffed so everything took a while. Waitress was fantastic. She was jammed but was able to remain cheerful.

They no longer honor OpenTable reservations. They were understaffed and when I said we had a res through OT, they honored it for me but said they use Resy now.

Went for Mother's Day brunch. I had ordered the Belgian waffle which was supposed to come with whipped cream and strawberries, but were missing. Also, a side of pork roll was ordered and came out cold. Service was friendly.

Overall we enjoyed waterman's- I think the menu is beautifully varied with some interesting (and delicious) options (the potato skins were amazing!). The manager and chef did come over which i thought was classy and nice. However, I had mentioned that we were celebrating an anniversary and a birthday and would like a nice quiet space. Yes, we were given a table in the corner of the main room. However, that room is extremely loud, no ambiance where we were, we felt put in the corner (would have been nice to be in the room with the chandelier if possible), and although our server was sweet, because we were in the corner I feel we were a second thought and therefore service was slow. Also- if someone tells you they are celebrating, a small gesture on the house is always appreciated? No candle in a small dessert, nothing. It's the little things. We may come back as there were other menu items that looked intriguing, but I'm not feeling the need to rush back.
Food and drinks were great and we definitely overstayed our reservation and the staff was great, didn't bother us at all. Let us stay as long as we liked.

We had our sons baptism at watermans tavern and we couldn’t have been any happier! From start to finish the service was incredible! The event manager was there to answer all of my questions even after hours via email and text. They were super accommodating with setting up the morning of, and made sure my party ran smooth from start to finish. The service at my party itself was also incredible. The staff went above and beyond to make sure my guests were all happy. For dinner we chose the buffet option and we were so impressed how many times they filled up the food. Not one station went empty and they kept it open for the duration of the party. Every single entree was delicious. We had guests going up for fourth and fifth servings with plenty left over! We would like to thank the staff at watermans tavern for going above and beyond for our sons special day and we will be recommending this venue to anyone who is looking to have a party or just a great meal!

We were seated at a booth in bar area. We were there on Monday with drink and food specials. We were going to go for a big meal but that menu was kind of small. The bar menu was very appealing and reasonable. It was also music bingo night. We didn't participate but it was fun to observe. Service was a little slow on drinks as there was just one bartender. Waitress was great! This is the place to go on Monday for Happy Hour which lasts hours!
