terrible management that treats their staff poorly. half of their staff quit within a few months of each other. including the general manager. pays under minimum wage. does not pay staff on time. money hungry, terrible business owners. baked goods & ingredients expiration dates are not properly tracked. dishes were cleaned improperly because correct cleaners were not provided. terrible. terrible. company. “luxury” *overpriced* coffee is roasted and made by underpaid employees with 1-2 UNPAID (illegal & not disclosed upon completing training) training shifts. avoid at all costs.

I only had the drip coffee, and a French Toast Muffin but I was happy with it and really liked the atmosphere of the place.

They had boards games and chess boards , they also had on display a local black author which you could read and also purchase , my drink was delicious despite me ordering the drink cold when I think the barista shoulda maybe suggested I get it hot , it’s was a rapseberry dark chocolate mocha and it was devious mocha , the raspberry powder in the cold drink doesn’t really mix as I would suppose it would have in hot drink , I think it was freeze dry raspberry , I got it cold because it a bit sunny that morning , wouldn’t have mind the barista making a suggestion

Black turtle is one of my go to’s both when I am in Philly during the work week and home in Brigantine for the weekends. BTC is fan favorite amongst my fiancé and I! We love the atmosphere and more importantly love the creative and delicious drinks!

Kamala did an excellent job crafting my caramel macchiato. She is personable and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is laid back and unhurried. Come with a patient attitude.

Their service is always great as always and there's always never line when I come to visit the black turtle coffee. The staff is very forward and friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu and the prices when I needed help. Although every time I order my drink it's always a subtle taste and not that explosion of flavor that I expected. Which is okay when I gave it a second chance it still was the same but now I know to always ask for extra pump to my enhance the flavor of my coffee. I ordered the gingerbread decaf Cuban coffee with oat milk really warm to none. My first visit I ordered the maple Canadian latte that was good and toasty but still the flavor needed just help thank goodness for my skinny girl syrups I always save the drink in the end. I have no problem I can help the drink too. I will still keep coming to this new coffee shop

I love the staff and it's so many different varieties and it was tough to choose from but my boyfriend custom his drink with s'mores and apple pie latte and I had decaft oatmeal Canadian maple latte. It was a double taste but it was still banging.... They also had food optionsand bakery but I will try them next time. The vibe there are very chilled and lay back. It way better then Starbucks. They have variety of coffee, coffee equipment, shirts ECT and couch's that are comfy and great ways to escape to studying for school.Dietary restrictions: Yes they have some.Parking: Small parking alot

$$$ Service was great on chestnut in Philadelphia but I can’t believe a coffee and shot and a feta cheese croissant cost 20$ the croissant was about the size of a pop tart. I needed some food but I’ll be more careful from now
