Hopefully the new ownership will improve the quality of the food and become the go to place on Brigantine.We had eaten at Laguna many times and stopped going three summers ago.Last visited with our young grandkids and they complained about the food , was in full agreement.Looking forward to the coming summer and a New Restaurant for Brig.

This place is in the perfect location. It's a must do after an enjoying day on the beach. The live entertainment was exceptional, the atmosphere is peaceful. The one problem I did see was that one of the bartenders was frustrated and spent a large amount of time at the far end of the bar servicing patrons which made the other end of the bar wait a considerable amount of time before being served. She stated on a few occasions that she was working short which made a few people leave.

Trying to support our local business. Embarrassed I did! Food was horrible. Service by our server" A" was perfect. Our highlight of the night. Best location to invite our seasonal tourists.. left humilated. Asked several hostesses, sitting 2 ft ahead tending to an EMPTY Inside Dining area to maybe bring it someones attention that a quick sweep needs to be made in Ladies Room. Was told someone usually comes by every few hours! Take their cell phones away! Concentrate on employees that will make or break you.

Right on the Brigantine Beach, live band - nice horn section, super sized lunch salads with chicken / crab cake choices. All good. A repeater for sure!

Live music here is great. Our family had an awesome time. The outside seating is refreshing. We were pleasantly surprised when we spotted a crab on the beach!I read a lot of other reviews from the past few months after initially writing this. I wish I could refute the negative reviews, but honestly, we only had drinks, and were only there for about 45 minutes. But out time was pleasant.

We sat inside because it was quite windy. Great views of beach even inside. Great service! It was an early dinner so we did burgers, fries, shrimp tacos all good fare.

If I could give zero stars I would.I have been here a few times in the past and was never really SUPER impressed with what they offered, but nothing "wrong" was done to me... Until this past weekend.6 of us tried to walk into the establishment. 1 of the 6 (my boyfriend) is a disabled vet with a service dog. As we tried to walk in a rude man in an apron (smoking a cigarette by trash containers) yelled at us and said "no dogs in the restaurant!" My boyfriend turned around an said "She's a service dog." To which the man responded "I don't care, I'm the owner there's no dogs in there" "Do you have her certifications". My boyfriend informed the owner he doesn't carry paperwork & that there was no REAL paperwork that could be provided as ANYONE can purchase fake certs. online. The owner and my boyfriend went back and forth for about 2 minutes or so before he called over a security guard & told him to "take care of the situation". You would think we were trying to cause a ruckus they way he was treating and talking to us. Mind you, all of us are adults, 33+.The owner ran off. The security guard said "He's my boss. I'm sorry, I would have let you in." Finally, after taking in the whole situation in my boyfriend went through his wallet and found his service dog card, which clearly states all the do's and don't of the business owners. One of the DONT'S is they are not allowed to ask for any documentation. My boyfriend went in trying to find the owner to show him the card but apparently "He left". Really? He left? It hadn't been more than 5 minutes.Owner is completely disrespectful and very unprofessional. He should make himself more knowledgeable of service animals.

Tonight the Billy Walton Band had an amazing show and the awful manager Rip (he’s a real gem) told them to turn the music down and then told my beautiful sister Tracy, Billy’s wife to f-ing get out and that he doesn’t cater to them and if she didn’t like it to get the f out. HE LITERALLY SAID THIS. Please spread this review and do not spend one more cent at this dump. Besides horrible treatment of patrons by management and the staff, the overpriced food is atrocious and the watered down drinks are poor excuses for cocktails.

It’s a big fun spot plenty of room and seating, food was no better than average, lobster was ok, we had a piece of grouper which was the best thing the group bought

What a lovely spot. Wonderful location and great vibes. The bang bang shrimp bowl was solid and the ahi tuna was perfection. Nothing beats that lobster roll we had either. Loved the decor and environment. Definitely going back! Keep up the great work.
Food is ok and expected for a beach bar, the cocktails were great, and we have no complaint about the food, we had an awesome server, Andreas. Is true you can see the ocean but is on the beach

My daughter, wife and I had very good all round food and entertainment for four plus hours. Apt and very nice f&b, efficient attentive staff, prompt service, and a great band in attendance made for a beautiful evening.Overall ambience with entertainment and charm of the beach at reasonable prices makes Laguna Grill & Rum Bar excellent proposition for holiday makers and other travellers alike. Hence the five stars rating from us.Happy people of all ages dancing away the hours to the tunes of the band Cheezy and the Crackers made our evening outing special.Would always highly recommend this place for family and friends gatherings.

Lovely... at least for families lunch Sunday. We went soon after opening and there was live music and not too crowded. Nice shaded picnic table in the sand and palms, felt like we were really somewhere tropical! Food was reasonable too, and they have kid friendly food and even added tofu to my salad for me ;)

Pretty good bar food, great fast service, great beach atmosphere, small and large groups are welcomed. Being the only beach place around I can understand the crowd pressure,but did not appreciate the rushed need to clear the table. This is not cheap joint, and if I sit down to eat dinner with family and friends while watching the live band, I expect to stay for more than an hour without a waitress harassing me for a check. It happened twice, on two different occasions, so I am assuming it's a management policy. That sucked, but they are the only game in town, so they get away with it. Having said that, this is a great establishment serving good food and spirits, so all is forgiven, and we will continue to come here. Families are happily accommodated here as well, for me, it's a no-brainer.
