Located right on the beach, this place is a giant bar, not a bar-and-grill. The food was disappointing; they donât even offer bar-type food, which is surprising given the location. Choices are limited and far from simple.
The lighting is the worst I've seen in any restaurant. Whoever designed the interior didn't know what they were doing. Everything is whiteâwhite marble tables, white chairsâand the lighting is industrial fluorescent, like an office building. The extreme white lighting is blinding, making you feel like youâve entered an industrial office, not a beachside bar.
The menu is ridiculous for a bar-and-grill on the beach. You can't get a burger, fries, or chicken. Instead, it's all Italian dishes with no simple finger food. The food was so bad we ended up returning it. They're trying to present themselves as a high-end fancy restaurant, but theyâre failing miserably. Given the beachfront location, you should be able to get hot dogs, burgers, fries, or fish. Instead, they offer a confusing mix of sushi and Italian dishes.
Wouldn't recommend it for anyone expecting a casual, beachside bar-and-grill experience.

Had dinner with my family here, tons of options for everyone including 2 picky toddlers and a diet restricted adult. Highly highly HIGHLY recommend the ricotta board!!!
Dietary restrictions: Plenty of options for my sister with a gluten and dairy intolerance
Kid-friendliness: The kids loved being on the beach while eating

Me and my girls visited LaScalaâs for dinner for our girls bachelorette weekend. The food was phenomenal and received great service by our server, Kelsey. Also amazing service by our valet attendant AR that turned into our photographer to capture great memories.

This review is strictly to rave about how the Manager, brown haired guy, Brian maybe? turned around a horrible service situation with a server. We were about to walk out but he got my husbandâs attention, listened to our gripe, and took care of us from then on. rather than just rant about the horrible waitress service, letâs highlight the good.
Food was pretty good, but the Managerâs service made everything delicious; ambience was great, families and singles alike.
We had the meatballs and the tuscan wings, and a couple drinks. We heard the tiramisu was great, but we will save it for our next visit.

I ordered a personal pizza with no meat or fish and a salad without these items also. The pizza was cold and the salad was small. I would be charged a 3% fee for paying by credit card, So I paid cash, but the bill was still over $35. Not a very good value. Not very likely to return
Upon arrival we should have left it was so loud and annoying. Service was ok food was terrible pizza burnt, chicken Parm sandwich so dry it was not edible. On top of high prices they charged us to use a charge card. The waiter had a bad attitude when I told him we would not return said it doesnât matter.

Our party got meals at different times. That was awkward. Remodel inside and outside looks great. Atmosphere very nice but weak drinks all served in plastic cups is tacky.

Cute ItalianAmerican place on the beach. Very bougie. I feel a bit weird as a PoC here. Food was hot and fresh. Young servers are pleasant and have great sens of humor. In house band was good but needs a better singer. Call me up! Hahaha
Vegetarian options: Caesar salad w/o dressing and penne vodka are vegetarian.

Overpriced, and the kitchen/management is a mess. Been there twice several months apart. First time we received meals 20 minutes apart. No one ate together. One meal came with frozen shrimp. My second time there, the kitchen messed up a sushi dish that was supposed to be gluten free and came with crunch(very much gluten). Then we discovered our martinis were 21 bucks a pieceâŠ..FOR TITOS! I can go to West Side, or Beverly Hills, name another high end area, and not find a 20 dollar Tito martini. And I think multiple waiters came with food we didnât order.
