Our food was decent and the live band was super entertaining but the fact that the bar and the kitchen couldn't get their tabs coordinated was off-putting. The crazy waitress working on 9/21/24 freaked out in the parking lot because she forgot to add mozzarella wedges to our bar tab and accused us of skipping out on 1 appetizer after we paid. It was so unhinged and weird our Uber driver was even traumatized.
We tipped 40% on our tab, were the only people to tip the band and because of their incompetence of their tab we were accused and harassed for missing the payment on a single order if mozzarella wedges. It was the most insane experience out my friends and I have ever had. I'm a frequent POSITIVE reviewer of businesses and own a business so it sucks to write a negative review but being yelled at in a parking lot for no reason sucks too so I feel compelled to.
My advice is stay away from this place
If the owners want to talk , I'm happy to explain my experience.

Stopped here for dinner on first night of our Brigantine weekend. Did not really have any expectations other than looking for a few drinks and some decent food. Place was a little empty at 1930 on a Friday night. Took a few minutes to get seated. Waitress was nice and ran down the beer list for us. I’ll admit a list to read would have been nice but I ended up just snapping a few pictures of the tap handles and texted them to our group. Beers were good and cold. We ordered not really expecting much-kind of nervous if I’m honest. Food came and quite frankly it was awesome! Elevated bar food is how I’d describe it. We had wings, chili, onion rings, fig snd jelly flat bread and a chicken salad. A surprise is that the chili came with homemade tortilla chips! Everything was really good. The place started filling up and a band began to set-up for a 2100 show. I suspect this is the go to evening place in Brigantine and it did not disappoint. The waitress got really busy but she never lost sight of us and even took some time to tell us about some great places to try while we were in town. We stayed for several songs from the band ( great sounds and not too loud-we could still talk to each other). We were happy with our first visit and will definitely come back.

The food was horrible. Bay leaves were left in our soup. The pretzels were overdone and looked and tasted like they were reheated from the day before. We will never eat there again.

Owner argues with several people on FB. Blames FB for his outdated menu. Still hasn’t changed it. Online menu clearly says fries are included but when you get the bill there’s an upcharge for fries. Takes no responsibility. Older guy that sells the alcohol is miserable.

This pub makes you pay for two checks, one for server, one for bartender, who imposes a ten dollar hold on your card which you are forced to use to open a tab. It was my first visit, I decided to try the place out while bus fares were free. Server was nice. I told the bartender I intended to pay the tab with cash upon ordering the drinks. First place I’ve ever seen that didn’t have Coor’s Light in draft. Wings were good. Music played was great. But overall, it is unlikely that I will return.

The bartender wasn't very friendly, and on their phone most of the time. They also charge 3% to use a credit card, which I was never informed of until my card had already been run. Food was ok, but nothing to go back for.

Stopped by for dinner for the first time after driving by the Pub for a few years. Had a great experience… server was polite and attentive, and on top of our order…. Beer was fresh and cold, and food came out fast and was tasty. Came on a Saturday night before the band went on; wasn’t too loud, and was a fun, lively atmosphere. We’ll be back for sure.

Food was mid our waitress was even worse and the band playing ear piercing music made it unbearable. Our waitress was rude and took forever to hand us the bill, and the prices on the menu are 3-4 dollars cheaper than what they actually charge you. The bus boy was cool tho

Unfortunately, ever since new ownership took over my experiences at The Pub at St. George’s could’ve been better. It's a laid-back gathering place located in the Brigantine Town Center Associates strip mall. They’re located below a fitness center, so depending on when you visit be prepared to hear the gym members dropping their weights. To me, this spoils the atmosphere. It has mediocre pub grub and brews with sports on TV. Hopefully, my future experiences at St. George’s will be better.

Food was what we expected for being a pub. Took a bit to get our food, but the only issue we really had was because we had 2 toddlers we were in the dining room area and a band was playing that night, right next to us. Literally the one chair of our table was in front of the stage. We were able to get the check and quickly exit before the band started to play as they would not have been ok with the speakers that loud near them.

Kid-friendliness: Possibly kid friendly for lunch, but not when there's a band playing.
