First visit mid September 2023. My buddy from this neighborhood and I decided to check out the restaurant. I wasn't hungry but the coffee was good and my buddy really enjoyed his breakfast and the waitress was fantastic. So, from that point on. I decided to take a chance and invite my very picky wife. She and I also enjoyed our huge meals with fresh ingredients. We've been to a few other restaurants and it seems that the trend now is to charge high prices for canned goods. It's a real turn off. Again, I took a chance and invited my out of state buddy to dine here after bragging about how great the food is and the service is top notch... well, almost! When we arrived, the cashier/hostess guided us to a table near the counter. My buddy got up and asked the two female workers (one of which wound up being our waitress) where the men's room was, neither one of them turned around to acknowledge him. The busboy turned and gave him directions. Later, we got a young waitress and we both are assuming she was new. We had to ask for everything from coffee creamers to napkins. I'm hoping she'll get better as time goes on. When our dinning experience was finished (with this girl) I asked for a container, she brings it out but doesn't quite get it on the table and it falls to the floor and instead of saying "Don't worry, I'll get another one", she just looks at it (on the floor) and so I had to reach down to pick it up. Thank goodness, it landed on its backside so, it was still usable. I wanted to give five stars for service but that one girl messed up my thought process. Bottom line is, Jenett is the best seasoned waitress there. She knows how to treat her guests. She's thoughtful, able to assess the situation and is eager to help out wherever she can. There are two other girls that are pretty good too. But my experience is on Janette. From now on, I'm going to ask who our waitress/server is going to be.

Despite being busy, the service is efficient, friendly, and pleasant, with very nice servers who don't rush you. The food is consistently great, with standouts like the BLT, club sandwiches, French toast, and omelets. The Cabbage and beef soup, chicken parm panini, chicken pot pie, and turkey soup are also amazing choices that taste good. Generous portions mean meals provide 1.5-2 servings, with large side salads and a delicious, giant burger with dressing, veggies, and sauerkraut. The diner's cleanliness and peaceful atmosphere make it welcoming, with accommodations for dietary restrictions and wheelchair accessibility. While the ambiance could use an upgrade, the overall experience is excellent, making it worth a repeat visit.
