My husband and I dined here for the first time, and food was delicious (calamari portico and rabbit), service wonderful and atmosphere very nice in an old fashioned kind of way. They take good care of their customers! We will definitely be back soon!

Excellent meal and service. The lobster bisque was very good. I had the bone in veal chop parmigiana with a side of linguini with garlic and oil. The veal was tender and delicious and the linguini was done perfectly. My fiancé had capellini with shrimp fra diavolo which was made on request. Both portions were very generous. We had house made cannoli for dessert which was also excellent. We will definitely be back. I would give it 4.5 stars but that isn’t an option.

The food was delicious! I had Fra Diablo, which was a special. The atmosphere was relaxing and romantic. The first restaurant I've been to in the area with music that was at an appropriate level. The service was one of the best as well. Made sure we had everything we needed but not annoying. I plan to go back, you should try it if you like Italian food.

Went for jazz night. The decor is somewhat dated, but music was excellent, and the food was good.

We really enjoy eating here - the food is probably the best around! The mushroom risotto is to die for. I'm craving the lamb chops as I type this. The lobster bisque is delicious. Pretty much everything we've eaten here has been delicious! Can't wait to go back. Definitely will try to be there one of the nights they have live music, too!Dietary restrictions: Lamb chops are halal

Overpriced, service was good, but owner asks everyone who orders a entree if they want soup or salad as if it's included with the entree it is NOT and it is wayyy over priced. Lobster bisque has no lobster meat in 3 bowls the table had. You can find much better places with better prices and food. Might be good for a event but not for regular meals.

Very disappointed. Food and service were good but they are NOT upfront with their prices. Got entree and was asked if I wanted soup or salad with it. Didn't not know it was not included and was charged $16 for salad and $12 for soup.... Also did not ask for special but was charged for it at $49. If they were upfront with prices I would go back.

For me to say the food was salty means something because I’m a salt-hound. When I told the bartender she said she’d pass it along to the chef. It was really dim at the bar so we asked for the lights to be turned up. The manager (chef) must’ve taken offense to our critique of his food because he told the bartender (who was excellent) that it was “ambiance” and wouldn’t turn them up. We were the only two sitting at the bar and couldn’t see our food! We won’t be going back.Manager

We ordered our meals and the owner asks us both, "soup or salad?" I said I'll take a soup (which was going to be a bowl of the soup of the day), and my boyfriend said he'll take a salad. We get the bill and he charged us $12 dollars for the soup and $16 for the salad. We assumed the soup or salad came with our meals since he asked us after we ordered. Also under the "appetizers" on the menu, there's "soup of the day listed" at $8. So if I got the soup of the day, why was I charged $12? Also why was I charged at all? Why would the owner ask me after I ordered a pasta dish, "soup or salad?" Really turned us off. Seems like there are plenty people who left reviews saying they had similar issues with overcharging on the bill and rude interactions with the owner.
