JB Bakery It's Always Just Baked

I'm a former fat man who is on a weight loss journey. I have a cheat day once a month so it's boiled down to only the things I love, donuts and pizza. With that said, this will be my go-to donut stop from here on out. The donuts are amazing and absolutely massive. I can typically run through a dozen with no problem but a half dozen was more than enough. The biscoff donut was probably the best donut I've ever had.

In the fall I always make sure to stop in and order the pumpkin cheesecake and the pumpkin cream donuts. The pumpkin cheesecake is more of a dessert item, think puffed pastry with tons of filling. The pumpkin cream donut is one of the best donuts I've ever tried. I think the change in using a cinnamon sugar exterior rather than just powdered sugar elevates this to the next level. Honestly, I can't speak to other aspects of this bakery, as all I've ever ordered is donuts, but if you're in the Burlington area and want amazing bakery fresh donuts, definitely stop by; I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

So today is my daughter 17th birthday. I called last night and made a request for cheese strawberry cheesecake. They said they were going to take care of it not be there over there to pick it up in the morning time around nine when I got there the order wasn’t even ready. They had no idea. The order was there and this type of cheesecake I get and this is what it looks like. It’s very disappointing and this a milestone in my daughter‘s life and this type of cheesecake I get seriously no love no type of anything put into it. How would you rate this cheesecake? I just had to go to another store and purchase another one and then overtime I used to get cheesecakes from them and they are good but I mean look at this man this is this is unbelievable

This 1 star review is for preserving with citric acid from black mold.
This makes food lifeless and causes pneumonia. (For people that are sensitive…)

My daughter ordered gender reveal donuts. She wanted Light pink and light blue with regular white cream and 2 sage green with the gender inside and a question mark on each in gold. What she got was a bright blue bright pink and emerald green hot mess. Never again. That was so not nice what they did to her!!! I wish I could attach a photo of the disaster that they gave her. Very disappointed.

Great bakery. Had not been here since the new owners took over. Fantastic baked goods. Been there twice since, and both times I was not disappointed in the least. Doughnuts and pastries are great so far I've tried the cherry turnovers, raspberry ruglech and their fruit pastries. They were all great!

We ordered DoorDash today for a chocolate chip cookie, sugar cookie and a cake. Our sugar cookie was replaced with a peanut butter cookie and there was no note or refund for it. We thankfully aren’t allergic but we are very concerned that a business would make this substitute and not let customers know ahead of them eating it. Both cookies were also in the same bag so for those who are very allergic it could have gotten really bad

Needed a birthday cake at short notice and had no means of transportation, so ordered here. I have to give them that the cake arrived quickly within 40 minutes, but the message on top was missing. So gave them a call and was told by one team member and subsequently the manager, that my only choice would be to bring the cake in. After explaining that I had no means to get there, the response was, that there is nothing else they could do.
So you can get something here quick, just not correct.

Unfortunately, I Drove an hour just to come here and have thee WORST Bakery Experience! Upon entry, your not greeted even though there’s more then once person there staring you up and down withought an hello. Then, the cashier was a young lady that was very rude and acted as if I wasnt spending my money when asking simple questions, and the deserts? Tasted like SUGAR. Nothing more. Every single thing was tastless. Worst experience, I would’ve gave 0 stars if it was applicable. Do better.
