Table was not available for about 30 mins after reservation time. Service and management both chaotically disorganized. Had to repeatedly re-request drinks / water as they constantly forgot. Completely unable to remember which dish was for which person.
Portion sizes were mostly generous except salmon was tragically small 2oz, and weirdly mashed potato about 1oz. Mixed vegetables were utterly destroyed overcooked mush. Food was served lukewarm. Had run out of many items, including basic items like salad dressings. Tarragon sauce had no tarragon in it. Ceasar salad had no croutons, just chopped iceberg.
None of us will ever go back.

Service was amazing, the portions were more than generous. Great atmosphere for kids, date night or just hanging at the bar. Steamed clams were fresh, calamari was lightly battered, and the wings were crisp. Server was super attentive to our table of 6 plus a high chair. Cannoli stuffing was clearly homemade and delicious. 10/10 would recommend. We just moved to the neighborhood and will certainly be back for quick family dinners as 3, dinners with grandparents and date night for sure.

Very nice restaurant/bar in the center of Califon. The waitstaff was excellent; very attentive and friendly, and fast to respond to a request. First, the steak was tender, delicious and cooked perfectly with a very nice pepper sauce. Full marks! The chicken cordon bleu tasted ok, but a bit dry/overcooked, as it had been surprisingly deep fried rather than baked as I would normally expect. The potato and veg sides were identical on both dishes, and somewhat uninspired, as the shredded veg blend was a bit bland and overcooked. That being said, the great waitstaff, atmosphere and moderate prices will bring me back to try some different dishes.

This little gem is out by Voorhees state park. We went for a quick bite to eat and didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. We went inside and they had live music that was perfect for the space, meaning it wasn't too loud to have conversation at your table. The food was excellent and the cocktails were tasty. I will be back for sure. The staff even gave us some pointers for other places to try in the area.

What a great place we came upon. It was a busy saturday about dinner time, We were promptly seated by the owner himself. Moments later we were greeted by our waitress who Took our drink order. Water and hot rolls were brought to our table within moments. Shortly thereafter our drinks arrived, We ordered the Lynchburg lemonade and the Mediterranean mule. Both were very tasty and well made. For our dinner selection, we chose the eggplant parmesan. And chicken parmesan. Both entrees came with a house salad. Or a caesar salad, or you could have soup. We chose the source and they were absolutely delicious. Our meal came and we were pleased with the selections that we chose. The chicken parmesan was excellent. As was the eggplant Parmesan. very tasty. The portions were a decent size for, the price. This is a very well run restaurant with very good employees, Upon leaving we were thanked By numerous employees for eating there tonight. Keep up the good work, We always prefer eating at a local restaurant rather than a national chain.

I have ordered takeout from here twice and eaten here twice, and we are now considering this our favorite date night spot close to home. Each time, the food was far above my expectations regarding restaurants in Hunterdon County. You would think from the name of the place that it was simply the standard Italian fare, and you would be mistaken. There are Asian, Mediterranean, and American influences as well, making the selection very well rounded, and everything is prepared and presented with obvious care and attention to detail. The sauces are TO DIE FOR. The owner is a very warm gentleman who makes his rounds not only to greet customers but also to provide support to his staff. Don't miss out on this gem!
