Was looking for a quick bite to eat after taking our kids to the zoo and stopped here. Super cute little place and the food was decent. There was a woman though who I think was responsible for table clearing (not the waitress, she was great) who kept coming up to our table and making weird remarks to my kids. Saying things like she was going to eat there food and that they better watch out before she takes them away. The first time I brushed it off but the second and third were extremely uncomfortable. I honestly grabbed my son at one point because she got so close to him and was in his face, touching him. It's really unfortunate because I thought the food was pretty good but my family and I just felt so uneasy. I'm not sure if I'd go back but I wouldn't recommend if you have little kids.

We threw a joint 60th/30th birthday bash at The Bellevue Tavern in their private room, and it was an absolute blast! The private room was gorgeous — big surround windows giving us tons of natural light, a dance floor, and tables that worked perfectly for groups from 4 to 10. The staff crushed it, super attentive servers and a bartender who kept everyone happy… our signature cocktails were premade and ready to roll — no waiting in line!! The food was amazing, plentiful and delicious- especially the crab cakes. Plus, we got to bring in our own DJ and dance all night (though they would’ve piped in music if we wanted). Special shout-out to Dennis, the owner, and his son, they were fantastic from the time of booking straight through to the very end of the party. They (along with the servers) constantly checked in during the night, totally hands-on and making sure everything ran smoothly, but never in an intrusive way. Our guests are still raving about it. If you’re looking for a spot to celebrate, this is the place. Bellevue Tavern nailed it!

I had the Bellevue burger and the artichoke spinach dip. The dip was nasty and the burger was bland and tasted like it was frozen. Weather it was or was not, it still was bland . Over all I give the food a 2-10

Very accommodating and understanding with my son. Wasn't busy which was great but we came between lunch and dinner on a random week day after we got rained out at the zoo. Watermelon crush and orange crush drinks were so0o good!!!

We ordered the steamers which were yummy but the crab cake, which was quite tasty, with sautéd spinach and tomatoes was swimming in oil leaving it inedible. Lose the oil. You don’t need it. The fried seafood sampler was ok but slightly overcooked and our shrimp tacos we could not eat as the baby shrimp were so overcooked. With that said, our server was hustling but never checked to see if we needed anything or how our food was. We took only 3 bites out of 3 tacos and when they cleared no one noticed or said anything to us about it. Everyone hustles but does not make eye contact or connections and the bus boy needs to be trained how to properly clean a table, booth seats and floor under the table. Husband loved his Bloody Mary but my watermelon mojito was so sweet I had to keep adding water. It was very pretty however. Will not return.

Overall it was not bad. This is second time here (when we come visit cape may zoo). Last year I remembered this place being awesome, this time around not so much. But what put me off the most (and why we won't go back next year) is that the menu says 18% gratuity will be put on party of 6 or more.....well our server put on 20%. Not cool! I did tell the owner/manager what took place.

What a cool place... best shrimp taco I have ever had! They had a really good drink menu. If in Cape may you have to try this resteraunt!!!

I had the kids mac and cheese meal for $7.00 it was worse then store brand mac and cheese . It was so dry and nasty on June 18th . 2025 for a wedding lunch. It was awful . I wouldn't give that to my dog if I had one . I have cats by the way. And my cousins son ordered chicken parmesan it was burnt beyond recognition for a 5 year old !! Unbelievable wasn't even offered anything else not that I would have taken it !!!

Just had the best blue cheeseburger and my husband had French onion soup with a BLT sammy . He said it was the best soup he's ever had and all I can say is great,great,great !!! 👍 👌 Support local restaurants!! Enjoy!!
