The bread, soup and red sauce were very good. The staff and waitress were very friendly. The portions were large, however the food was not great, it was fair. The veal was tough, the shrimp scampi had tiny previously frozen shrimp and the pasta was overcooked and it was swamped in butter and oil. The meatballs were fair. The wooden salad bowls were chopped. The decor and chairs were absolutely dated. If the food was great, we would overlook the outdated restaurant, but it really was not food. They only had bay scallops, no sea scallops and they were out of cannolis after being offered. We wouldn’t return. :(

When they say they close at 800 they really mean don't come here after 730. I got there at 750 and was turned away. Another time at 755. I said the sign says open and they said it is for take out. Really??? That is one of the lamest excuses I have ever heard. I told them this was the second time I was turned away before their posted closing and if I was not seated I would not come back. The lady who was the manager said I do not care. Since they do not care about their customers why would anyone eat there?

I'm sorry but I was not impressed with this restaurant. I gave the food one star. That was probably the worst chicken Palm I've ever eaten. I gave the service 3 star. Because the waitress Couldn't answer a question about the food. It didn't bother to find out. I gave the atmosphere one star. Take a look around, you'll find tears in the carpet. You'll find paint chipping off the walls as well as the chairs and light bulbs that are blown out.

After waiting over an hour for our meal, and watching people coming in later being served the same meal, mine came our cold (they were not busy). When we asked for a comp for my cold meal and the extraordinary delay, we were asked not to come back. They did offer to reheat, but I did not have much faith in their time estimates based on their service from earlier in the evening. We will not go back, even without their request.
Absolutely love dining at Nino's. BYOB which keeps the prices reasonable. Food is always top rate and the portions are unbeatable. Staff is always the best.

Don't expect a hefty bill considering the portions. For the portion size to the great Italian atmosphere, I've always enjoyed eating at Nino's family restaurant.Early bird (3 - 5 pm) is recommended due to lines.

The crew is second family to me, I’m always entertained. It’s authentic Italian and takes me back to my childhood days. I always go here when I’m in Wildwood.
