We were visiting from VA....this place has the freshest bagels I've ever tasted. They just melt in your mouth. And the customer service was excellent! Very friendly and helpful when we needed a few minutes to make our decisions. We'd definitely go back! And if you've got a sweet tooth, the chocolate chip cookies are well worth the purchase also

Ordered GRILLED cheese with bacon and tomato $4.95, bagel with veggie cream cheese $2.95 and got a tiesta iced tea. Was charged $16.05. questioned her and she said tea was $6. Which target sells for $2.99 math still doesn't add up. To top it all off worst grilled cheese sandwich, their version was they toasted the bread in the toaster then put cheese, bacon and tomato after they toasted it. Never even touched the grill. Even a five year old would know how to make a GRILLED cheese sandwich.

Carlstadt Bagels was ok until I got to the register. The woman working there talking to her "friend" seemed bother when I approached and interrupted their conversation to asked for a cup of tea. It is a convenient spot close to home, but think I'll take my business elsewhere.
Unbelievably rude service and Lori was not accommodating and unprofessional when the bagel store made an error. Would never recommend this bagel shop.
