I came expecting a salsa social, but the event did not match what NJ Salsa promotes. Instead, it felt like a regular nightclub. There were performers on stilts with LED costumes, club-style lighting, and almost no salsa music.

The DJ played mostly early-2000s party tracks, “Danza Kuduro”–type music, reggaetón viejo, electro-latin remixes - nothing suitable for social dancing. For salseros, the music was the most disappointing part.

On top of that, the price is extremely high for New Jersey:

$30 walk-in entry

$5 just to enter the mall
Total: $35 for a ‘salsa’ social that isn’t even in NYC.

The venue has good ventilation, security, and parking, but that doesn’t make up for the lack of authentic salsa music or dance environment.

Final rating: 1/5.
If you’re a salsero looking for real salsa dancing and music, this is not the right place.

Stop gaslighting salseros...

The atmosphere and music are good but the service is terrible.

The cocktails were fantastic – both delicious and creatively presented! The space is also quite large and comfortable. I did feel the TV situation could be improved; more screens would be great for catching games. The bartender was just okay, nothing special, and the non-alcoholic beer selection was limited for those who drink mocktails/NA drinks. I'd definitely return for the drinks and atmosphere, with hopes they expand their TV and NA beer options.

Nice place. Price isn't too bad, either. 9 bucks for a good gin and tonic 😃

First 2 drinks I ordered, they did not have the ingredients for. Then the bartender went to check for mint and they could make a mojito, which was the worst mojito I have ever had. Nice place to view the MetLife stadium. Everything about this place is mid.

Past by after shopping and saw how lively and lit it was. So I was like why not have a drink on a Saturday night after shopping? Trying to get in, the girl in the front says to me to enter you have to pay $30. I have to pay $30 to get into a bar in the mall??? Why ? I turned around and left. Couldn’t believe I have to pay $30 to get into a bar at the mall. Never again

We had a surprise party here with 50 people and cannot say enough about our entire experience. From the attentive service leading up to the day, to the delicious food (catered by 'House of Que',), to the variety of drinks, the exemplary service from all staff members (who consistently asked what more they could do) to the tech support for a multi screen slide show and lots of other unexpected tasks, all performed with smiles. They played exactly the kind of music we requested and a bonus was the floor to ceiling view! We did not even know there were windows. The Dream Bar looks out at MetLife Stadium and we had a LOT of Giants fans in our group - including the guest of honor. They all thought we planned that on purpose. It was just one more perk and all at very reasonable cost. We highly recommend this venue for any special event. And so do all our friends, who had no idea this gem existed within American Dream. Thank you Dream Bar and 'House of Que' for making everything so seamless and a terrific day we will never forget.

Attentive staff, good drinks, and spacious seating area. If you're in need of a break from the crush of the rest of the mall, this is a lovely spot.

I went here with my wife to grab a drink after some shopping. The bartender Matt was lovely and made one of the Best Old Fashion I ever had. What surprised me more was when I ordered my second Old Fashions, it tasted exactly the same as the first one! Matt's bartending skills are on point! My wife and I will differently come back here the next time we have a break from the kids, lol.

It's a nice bar with a great view. However, I ordered 2 shots of Tito's vodka and it cost $30. Read that again. Thirty DOLLARS! $30 for 2 shots of TITO'S vodka. Dream Bar more like Nightmare Bar for your wallet. Staff was cool though.
