Absolutely amazing meal! I would highly recommend for authentic Turkish cuisine and a great atmosphere. Sercan was our server. My fiance and I cannot wait to come back again. We had the rack of lamb and filet kabob as our entrees and the zucchini pancakes and babaganoosh as our appetizers. Cannot recommend enough.

We had such a great experience at this Turkish restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and authentic. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a really nice vibe that made us feel comfortable and relaxed.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a wonderful experience on Valentine day and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend! 💕

We hosted a milestone birthday here for 25 people and it was absolutely perfect. They gave us a private section that comfortably fit everyone, let us decorate the tables with flowers, and even use their surround sound speakers and TV. The room was romantic with stunning NYC skyline views through massive windows that felt like you were sitting outside — and even though it was 17 DEGREESS OUTSIDE, everyone stayed warm and comfortable thanks to our thoughtful hosts who probably paid a fortune keeping that room heated. For the food we did the family-style menu with 4 cold appetizers, 3 hot apps, and a mixed grill platter — SO much food and everything was delicious. Easily the best Turkish food in NJ.
Amazing atmosphere for date night or parties. If you’re coming as a couple, ask for a table in the back. Only downside is street parking can be a little tough, but totally worth it. 10/10 — highly recommend!

First and foremost, the service here is impeccable. Hunker has a family restaurant feel and we were greeted and served by a few very nice and attentive people. They brought us a fried zucchini appetizer on the house which was delicious, and we also had hummus, babaganoush, cigar borek, shepherd salad and more. All of it was delicious. We had a mixed platter and everything on the plate was spiced well and absolutely amazing. For desert we had baklava, kazandibi, Turkish tea and it was all delicious.
10/10 experience - we will definitely be back!
