Such a nice server, to let us know at the door that they will be closing in 1 1/2 hour. To make sure that we were comfortable with that timing, which we were. Other than the fact that you can tell that the cooks wanted to go home because they Cooked our meals quite fast and even though I asked for medium well and it came out well done it was still good and wasn't a dry Burger. Only thing I have to say though, is when you're going to serve soup at that time, and it's not going to be freshly made then just tell the customer that. And give them the option to change if they want to. But other than that everything was fantastic the diner was not busy at that time so it made for an even better eating atmosphere. I have to say though, I'm surprised that it was ran by 1 Employee entirely. Which is not fair at all to that 1 employee. But she handled it like the boss that she is, I just wish I remembered her name....

Just drove up for jets game tomorrow. Stopped here to eat. What a great place. My pancakes were divine. The cheesesteak was delicious. Server was excellent. Loved it all. Had the feel of a neighborhood diner with home cooked meals! What a welcome to New Jersey!
Run down and Grimy. Feet sticking to floor and clothes sticking to seat. Tables not clean. Food even came cold. I’d avoid.

GREAT PLACE !!! Great food and staff. I travel all over the US and Canada and when I was in town I wanted a good New Jersey diner to eat at. I found Meadowlands Diner I thought I'd give it a try. WOW it was everything I wanted and a whole lot more. The food is just to good. And the staff made me feel right at home. I have eaten there 3 times this week and plan to go there at least one more time before I leave town. I sure will miss this place when I'm gone. Love this place. Chris.
Service is great, thanks Nicole! Food is okay. I ordered jalapeño poppers, and a classic Ruben with roast beef. The poppers were a bit chewy but tasted good. The roast beef was dry, and I didn't expect it to be open faced. Bread and fries are good. Slaw on the side was warm. They have a massive menu that could stand some shrinkage to allow a focus on quality. I will probably visit again to check out their breakfast skills ?
