Just moved to Rutherford TODAY and I’m not used to having good pizza in NJ, I prefer NYC slices. Ordered a few pies this afternoon for all our friends and family who are helping us move and I needed to take a few minutes to write this review. So excited that this is my new fav pizza place! Pepperoni, Plain, and Sausage is so tasty!! Love the pepperoni cups that curl up! ❤️❤️❤️

First time ordering from here since it was close to my house . I ordered a cheese pie and it came disgusting . Pizza had the cheese falling off and it was all mushed together you couldn’t even make out slices . I called the shop and the guy picked up and I told him what happened he said I have to ask for well done .. I said I’m not ordering steak I’m ordering pizza I never had to do that .. he goes you know what don’t call here and order no more… there’s many pizza places around with good service .. will NOT be spending money here with rude people

So glad we opted for this tiny hidden gem! You couldn’t find more down home , authentic Italian cuisine if you hoped a plane. Save the trip and travel to Carlstadt in NJ. no fuss, no muss, like it’s fresh out of Grandma’s kitchen. What you’d expect of her Sunday sauce topped the Sicilian style “Grandma” pizza, complete with fresh mozzarella, torn fresh basil leaves and a perfect crisp & tasty crust.We couldn’t stop without trying owner Johnny’s award winning “best meatball” which did not disappoint. Wonderfully accompanied by a touch of fresh ricotta, we had to take a couple to go home for mom.Johnny and friends entertained us with some friendly chit chat; it felt like you were stopping at a cousin’s for Sunday dinner. We’ll be back, and likely with a bigger cooler to take advantage of a few extras to travel back upstate with us. We look forward to our next visit!Kelly & Scott

My daughter and I stopped here between soccer games and were glad we did. Perhaps the best slice of pizza I’ve ever had. Same with the meatballs. Service couldn’t have been friendlier. It’s my 7 year old’s new favorite restaurant.

At first I was skeptical because of the $13 price tag on the meatball parm, but after hearing the reviews of these amazing meatballs, I had to try it. Let me tell you, it's worth $13 and more. Holy meatball, these are the best I've ever had. Perfection and highly recommended!!!
