The portion was ridiculously small — felt like I ordered off the kids’ menu without knowing. The chicken was dry, bland, and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. Fries? Cold, soggy, and sad. They were even stingy with the sauces.
This place is a disgrace to the Popeyes name.
No flavor, no value, no care.
Save your money and your appetite — go literally anywhere else.
Major disappointment.
The service was horrible The workers are just conversing and laughing instead of doing their job taking a really slow time. Getting orders out. My food was cold. Had to wait 30 minutes. I did not let me know in advance. Customer service horrible do not recommend.
The worst workers , worst managers I
Worst sandwich ever. Completely soggy with oil, like it was fried too many times
Nice place to have lunch after water park break
The dining experience at Popeyes American dream mall was truly exceptional. The food was delicious, the service was prompt and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant!
I ordered the 5-piece Signature Chicken meal through the Popeyes app at this location.
Here is what happened:
1. The app advertisement and ordering page clearly showed the 5-piece offer but did not explain which specific chicken parts would be included.
There was no warning that the pieces would be automatically assigned and could not be adjusted.
2. After placing my order, the receipt showed 1 breast, 1 wing, 1 thigh, and 1 leg — automatically assigned by the system, without any option for customer selection.
3. I politely requested to swap a wing for an extra thigh — a simple and reasonable customer request.
4. The staff immediately refused my request without providing any explanation.
I calmly tried to discuss it for about 10 minutes, asking multiple times for a clear reason why the substitution could not be made.
5. Instead of explaining, the staff became rude, gave me dismissive hand signs, and threatened to call security if I did not leave.
6. Eventually, they handed me the thigh and forced me to leave without ever explaining why my reasonable request was denied.
It was clear they were trying to push the problem away instead of addressing it properly.
7. I am attaching my receipt as proof.
There was no disclosure about automatic assignment or refusal to adjust orders.
I am now formally requesting a direct and official answer from Popeyes Corporate:
• If customers are not allowed to choose chicken pieces, why is this NOT clearly disclosed at the time of ordering?
• If customers are allowed to choose, then why was I refused a simple substitution without any reason given?
Until Popeyes provides a clear explanation, I consider this a case of misleading advertising, unprofessional behavior, and failure to treat customers with respect.
Good food and service 😍
Popeyes wasn't that bad it is good and the chicken and wings are really good.
The only redeeming factor is it’s a chain that makes a great chicken sandwich but I highly recommend going to another Popeyes location. If you’re in the mall, go to another place for food, there’s plenty of other options.
Also they closed 25 minutes before the time that’s posted. Which like don’t get me wrong showing up 5 minutes before a place closed is a bit much but 25 minutes should be plenty. Especially in a mall where you don’t need to stay open for me to eat in the food court seating.

A standard Popeyes in the mall. Asked for no pickles on my spicy chicken sandwich... and they put in pickles. Really? After confirming on my receipt, too.The boneless wings are the size of nuggets... 100% not worth the cost for more than $1 a boneless wing. And they forgot to give me sauce, I had to go back and ask for it. Definitely have had better service experiences.

Popeyes Review: A Flavorful Experience with Great Service
If you’re in the area and craving some Southern-inspired fried chicken, the Popeyes nearby is a fantastic option to satisfy those comfort food cravings. I recently visited, and overall, I was impressed by both the quality of the food and the efficiency of the service. Here’s a breakdown of what made this visit stand out.
Atmosphere and Cleanliness
As soon as I entered, I noticed that the restaurant was quite clean and well-maintained. The floors and tables were spotless, which is a huge plus for any fast-food spot. It wasn't crowded at the time I went, which made the experience even better since I could relax while waiting for my order. The layout was also spacious, giving it a welcoming and open feel. Popeyes locations can sometimes feel a bit cramped, but this one offered plenty of room.
Service and Efficiency
One thing I appreciated was the friendly and efficient service. The staff seemed genuinely pleasant and attentive, which made the experience more enjoyable. Sometimes, fast-food employees appear rushed or uninterested, but the team here was polite and quick to help. My order was taken promptly, and they double-checked it to ensure accuracy—a nice touch to avoid mix-ups. My food was ready in less than 10 minutes, even though I had a somewhat large order. The staff seemed organized, and they managed to get food out quickly while maintaining quality, which isn’t always the case with fast food.
Food Quality
Now, onto the main attraction—the food. I ordered a mix of their signature fried chicken, some classic sides, and the famous biscuits. Each item lived up to Popeyes’ reputation for bold flavors and satisfying crunch. The chicken was cooked to perfection: crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. I chose the spicy option, and the heat level was just right—not overwhelming but enough to give that flavorful kick Popeyes fans love.
The sides were equally delicious. The mashed potatoes and Cajun fries were flavorful, and the portion sizes were generous. My personal favorite was the red beans and rice, which had a smoky, seasoned taste that balanced out the spiciness of the chicken perfectly. The biscuits were, of course, the classic buttery, flaky goodness that you expect from Popeyes, with that slight hint of sweetness that makes them so addictive.
Value for Money
While Popeyes isn’t the cheapest fast food, I found the prices reasonable for the quality and portions. The meal filled me up and felt like a good value. Plus, they had a few meal deals and combos that helped bring the price down a bit. Considering the size and quality of the food, I’d say it’s worth every penny.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I had a great experience at this Popeyes location. The food quality, combined with the excellent service and cleanliness, made for an enjoyable visit. If you’re a fan of crispy, flavorful fried chicken and satisfying sides, this Popeyes is definitely worth a visit. It’s a solid option for a quick, tasty meal that hits the spot. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or picking up dinner for the family, you won’t be disappointed.
