This is a century resteraunt and favorite local steakhouse a true hidden treasure you can go to much fancier and more expensive places but you won't get a better steak our classic friendly personal service with a North Jersey twist this is a locals hot spot and a hidden treasure most outsiders will never see.

I came in with another guest. The atmosphere was okay. We ordered two $60 ribeye steaks. Both supposed be well done. Only our ribeye steaks was well done with the surface layer burnt. When we cut one of the steaks the inside bloody with a burnt surface and was rushed. The steaks were rushed and we knew this, when we asked the waitress gave us an attitude about asking for another steak to be cooked well-done she said we can exchange or return the steak. The waitress says she went back and cooked it again for us as the steak was already burnt. I would not recommend spending your money here. Find a better steak house not worth it.

I am ready to review this place Steve’s Steakhouse in the quaint town of Carlstandt, NJ. Before even getting my food, I was captured by the smell of their secret sauce; revealed by another satisfied customer and the service at the door was great. Now for the food if someone’s momma was near by I would have had to slap her. IT WAS EVERY BIT, SIMPLY PUT, SCRUMPTIOUS. Highly, highly recommended. Ask for Brandon who was amazing with how to navigate and chose something from the menu.

Not sure of the allure. For a steak joint whose main attraction is fries -they shouldn’t be frozen! The steak is mediocre at best. I expected more for almost $60 for a ribeye. The salad was warm iceberg. We went around 4. Wasn’t busy at all and the waiter dropped our food and never came back to even check on drinks or how food was $4 for an iced tea and never got a refill. The place is dimly lit and dirty Save yourself the money and try something better!

This steakhouse has been here since 1936 I have passed by here over number of years, but never have eaten here decided to come in here for an early dinner with a friend from out of town. First, I may say that when you walk in you feel like you are in a time warp from the past everything is very clean and it’s decorated with various antiques. They play some old music which adds to the scenery of the past. It was a homey feeling, and I felt very comfortable in the booths that they have to sit and Eat. We ordered an Angus Ribeye Steak It was huge 16 ounce so me and my friend decided to split it. We still had steak left over. That’s the spices on it were really delicious and the steak was good but some of it was a little rough. It had a very good taste to it though we ordered cream spinach, which I only had a couple of bites, but it was very delicious. We had french fries and a couple of mushrooms with the steak that came with that a salad with a delicious. Caesar dressing. We also split the zucchini sticks with. Horseradish sauce that was very tasty. I highly recommend this place. If you wanna stay the food was good. I wish I had room to try the dessert. They had a Keylime pie. That sounds good. I’m sure it’s delicious too. Plenty of Parking in the parking lot. I highly recommend to come here for steak. I’m sure the other food is good too. I will come back again..
I stopped into Steven’s Sizzling Steakhouse after shopping at the American Dream Mall and had a nice experience overall. The atmosphere felt warm and classic, with a comfortable energy that worked well for grabbing drinks and appetizers with friends.
We ordered a few appetizers to start everything came out fresh and well-prepared. The portions were generous enough to share, and the flavors had that classic steakhouse richness you’d expect. The drinks were also solid; the bar seemed well-stocked, and cocktails were mixed nicely without being too heavy-handed.
Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. The location is super convenient if you’re already at the mall, and it makes a good spot to unwind after shopping or before heading home.

I've been here 2 times in the past couple of months. I can say that the food is delicious and the service is great the only reason I gave them 3 ⭐ is because of the lack of cleanliness... The deer and guns the have hanging up all over the restaurant have about an inch of dust on all of them which is nasty and also the door to enter and exit is filthy... When and if they clean and dust I'll give them 5 ⭐
