We were there for a private party. The wait staff was very attentive! The room was set up comfortably allowing room for guests to move around the room. The food was delicious. Assorted vegetables were cooked and seasoned properly which is not always the case at buffets. The flounder was delicious as were the chicken and meat dishes.I would definitely return to dine here again!

First time going and it definitely did NOT disappoint. Thank you to Miguel for giving me the information I asked for and it was right up my alley. It’s a chill atmosphere , mixed crowd, different genres of music, and the food OMG. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and order things I’ve never had and let’s just say I’ll be back for more. Definitely will give this establishment an overall 9. Thank you for the experience

This restaurant was a nice gem. ? My fiance and I are locals of Carteret and decided to stop by here for a bite. This place did not disappoint. The food was great, the drinks were amazing and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Don't hesitate to stop by here!!!!!

I had the pleasure of discovering this best kept secret in Carteret! It deserves 5 stars the staff could not be nicer, the place is super clean, the atmosphere, the Chef Joaquim was the most professional catering to my picky ways!! All the food ordered deserves a 10 star review, this is my new spot, my little Portugal away from Portugal!!! When I go to any restaurant what makes me happy is when the staff makes me feel at home!

Was in larger private room and service was mediocre. We had to ask for more coffee cups and ask for dessert plates to be put out. They did not keep up with seeing that stations were adequately supplied. However food is great at Chateau Madrid.

One lady at the bar. Older with long black hair is not friendly at all. She doesn't even smile. She walks by you several times without asking if you need something. I miss the previous owner. If you tell her there's an issue with your order, she doesn't apologize or anything. She will take care of it, of course, without saying anything. Oh, and she does speak English. Lacking customer service Big Time!
