Quality of the food not even worth the price. $6 for a portion of avocado not even a whole. Must be cartel avocados I guess. Un abuso. I keep giving this place a shot more so because it鈥檚 in a town where there isn鈥檛 many options. But 99% of the times that I have tried, They have failed empanada, breading so Fried To The Point Where You couldn鈥檛 - Even eat it. My money to be spent elsewhere bye bye 馃檪

This place is horrible, the food was disgusting, it was super oily, and the food was not fresh it was reheated, also when they鈥檙e served there was two long strands of black hair on the plate which belonged to the waitress she had long black hair when mentioned all she did was changed the plate and no apologies, when I paid it already had a programmed gratuity tip, I was about to leave another tip on top of that I didn鈥檛 noticed about the gratuity tip until I paid, when you pay with your card it asked to leave tips starting with 15% and forward, I was gonna leave it until I notice it already had the gratuity added. Not recommended. And it鈥檚 nothing like Hornitos in Colombia. I visited Colombia and their Hornitos is top of the line. That鈥檚 why I visited this restaurant thinking it was the same quality.

Used to be good but horrible customer service . They raise their prices every other week. The lady wouldn鈥檛 give the customer in front of me food because the poor kid was like 6 cents short. I gave him my change so he could get his food. Just very greedy people. I felt bad for the kid . Also their food quality has gotten very poor.

The chicharr贸n did not have any flavor to them. It needed salt, in my humble opinion. The baked goods were good, except I was given the wrong item. The young lady mixed my bag up with my friend's bag. Neither of us liked the other's item馃ぃ馃ぃ, but we realized after we got home and it was too late. They were very nice and patient as we asked several questions about what some of the bakery items were. For the most part, the food was good. I would try them again but will definitely not get the chicharr贸n.

Today I saw a status of a warmer on Instagram and I decided to go to Al Hornitos de Carteret. The experience was excellent, from the service to the food. I ordered the heated one, accompanied by passion fruit juice, which was delicious. The presentation and taste of the food was next level, and everything I saw on the menu looked amazing. I would definitely come back to try many other things. Totally recommended!

I went to Hornitos Bakery in Carteret and the experience was just amazing. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff. The food, what a delight! I ordered a breaded breast accompanied by patacones and a soup that was the perfect complement. The breast was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with a delicious flavor that blew me away. The patacones, fresh and golden, gave a traditional touch to the dish. Definitely a place I will return to without a second thought.
