CSW Catering - Snack Shack

Fantastic chef, event planner and overall excellent food and service!

Sean and his team catered my wedding this past Saturday. The entire process of choosing a menu, setting a drop off time, payment, and food set up was as easy as any bride can ask for. My guests were impressed with every single food item! To say the food is delicious is an understatement. The food was also presented well and came in trays that were fitting for a wedding and made reserving left overs easy. I 100% recommend CSW. The biggest hits of the night were grilled NY strip sliders, crostinis, and ahi tuna pizzas.

This is strictly on there beverage sales and service at the Carteret PAC center, not their food. I cannot say anything good or bad since I have not tried their food.With regard to their bar set up and service, it was terrible! They could not even make the simplest of drinks due to lack of knowledge and some they did not have the ingredients. One of the bartenders she seemed a little off acting a little crazy wanting to make her concoctions of a drink. My wife tried her “ specialty “and it was horrible to say the least. There must’ve been at least four bartenders no type of organization when it came to the line, very sloppy. I had several beers which by the way they only had Bud and Bud light- cans.$8.00 a can. One of the times I go up I get to take the can back to my seat. Next time I go up I’m told they have to put it in a cup and then two of the bartenders are going back-and-forth saying no it’s OK.This is not the first night they were opening, you would think they would have more of a variety of beers as well as some of the standard drink mixes/ingredients to make a mixed drink very disorganized. Again this is on the beverage and service not their food as I have never tried it.

I’ll start by saying that the moment I met Sean, I knew I was going to enjoy working with him. He is very easy going, friendly and of course knowledgeable in his profession. I’m an event planner and have worked with many caterers in my career. Sean has been and still is my favorite to work with. Sean catered my wedding, my son’s Dr. Suess themed 1st bday party as well as corporate events I’ve hosted. Everything he brings to the table (literally) has been flavorful, unique (you can only have so many crab cakes) and optically pleasing. My guests always praise the food when CSW is involved! I
