Disappointed with quality of food compared to price. We ordered pani puri and papri chat. Pani puri water was not good and smell bad. Papri chat was completely dry containing 90% and 10% curd and other things. I have eaten papri chat at other places in NJ but nothing as worse as one at Sankalp. It seems they are least interested in serving clients or they need new chef who know what he is cooking.

Over priced Indian restaurant. Food is neither tasty nor fresh. On top of all that, service is pathetic. Worst restaurant experience ever! Won’t recommend this to anyone.

Food taste good, however a few pieces of lamb were inedible for being really too tough, which was disappointing as the rest was tender. However for the price of 1 meal ($30) its way over priced. We're talking $16.99-$20 bucks after taxes is more appropriate for the quantity. My next visit would be sit down only to possibly entertain. Cost way too much for take-out. I grabbed some vindaloo from trader joes for $6 that made me feel more confident I can get the taste without the price tag.

I would have given 0 star if there was an option.

We came to this restaurant after they were open. Most things from menu they didn’t have which we wanted to order. Even though those food options were part of the menu. The reason they gave was we just opened so we don’t have those things.
They should have different menu for different time range of the restaurant.
For dosa they said it would take 30-40 mins and in restaurant we were the only family. Literally no other customer at all.
Asked for sugar cane juice as it was in menu and they said they don’t have any juice.
They have filter coffee in menu and for that also they said they don’t have filter coffee.
We ordered idli vasa combo and in menu it was clearly mentioned that it would come with 4 idli and 2 vada but we got 2 idli and 2 vada and when we said that in menu it says 4 idli their reply was that’s what you would get.
How unprofessional. We said it’s mentioned in menu as 4 idli still they won’t address it.

So disappointed. Would never recommend any one to this restaurant.
