I usually love going to desi fusion spots but my experience at Chashni was one that really disappointed.my first issue came from the table and lack of space in the restaurant. I have been to Chashni multiple times and understand that it's first come first serve most of the time I'm the weekends. A table opened up and I went to sit down and was told that there was a waitlist, that was no issue. As soon as I got up to wait another party came in and asked if the table next to me that was covered in dishes was available and the waitress immediately seated them, I'm assuming that it was without being on the waitlist since they asked if it was available. So even knowing that I had gotten there and was waiting for a table, a party that came in after me was seated. Finally when the food came, My food was cold and when I asked if I could have something warmed up again I was told I could not, so my breakfast ended up being a hard cold paratha. Went to ask for a couple of extra forks and knives and the waitress, the same women that told me I had to eat the cold food and would not seat me at first, watched me stand waiting to ask (after I asked to have the food warmed ) and would not come back to the front stand, I ended up having to ask someone else's that was asked by another party for forks and knives. They all just kind of stared and looked at me while I was waiting to get utensils which made me feel extremely unwelcome. What's the point of having serving staff if they don't even care about your experience eating somewhere? Can for sure say that I won't be coming back here, which is sad since I've been multiple times and love the food, but when you're treated like this, especially going to a Pakistani establishment which usually are all about hospitality, if really turns the dil off

Chai and food is really great but I was really disappointed today when we were sitting and enjoying our chai and one of the workers asked my family to use a stool instead of a chair to accommodate another couple. What was more shocking was that there was a woman sitting next to us who had her coat on a chair and rather than asking her, the worker asked my elderly father to use a stool. My father can’t use a stool, he is older and it felt odd that the worker asked the Pakistani family to accommodate a white couple and didn’t ask the white woman by herself to give up a chair for her coat… it’s a Pakistani cafe and we always want to support Pakistani businesses, but I am super disappointed, do better Chashni.

walked in and made eye contact with barista who looked away without greeting me, despite being the only other customer in small space. they were making waffles for a family which is reasonably time consuming but in the five minutes i was standing there i went unacknowledged so i left

Walk in the door and waited about ten minutes until someone said something. Everyone stared at us without saying one word. The lady in all of the videos on the websites page was sitting on the computer ignoring us the whole time. I refuse to give these rude, ignorant people my hard earned dollar. Terrible service!! I would never recommend to anyone, no matter how the food tastes!!!

Loved the parathas , omellet and chana with achar …all freshly made just like back at home . Best Chai so far in USA.
Parking: We got 90 minutes free parking spot right opposite the Chashni.
Had brunch the other day! Very cutesy, very demure! Cozy spot with outdoor seating as well. Food is fresh, taste is fantastic. They truly care about their customers by providing good quality food which not only is tasteful, but beautifully presented!

Great spot for traditional chai! They also have a wide variety of coffees and teas. Food was delicious. Highly recommend the chicken and waffles! The chicken was juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside, and the oil/syrup drizzled on top was a great mix of spicy and sweet!

I went there on a weekday, not crowded at all , plenty of seats, only one person in front of me and still had to wait THIRTY MINUTES for 2 cappuccinos and one latte. That’s insane. I was super excited to try this place and what a disappointment, service is terrible. When the late gave me the coffee she didn’t say a word, didn’t look at my face and turns out the coffee as not even hot anymore. Coffee tasted ok.
