You would think what's so special about a sandwich shop, aren't they all the same? The answer is no. Chatham Sandwich Shop has become my favorite for several reasons: 1. The sandwiches are perfectly made on the freshest of bread. 2. The staff is very friendly and KIND. 3. The atmosphere isn't busy (the store is very busy with customers), but relaxing. I hardly ever eat sandwiches but have been craving an Italian sub for days, so i popped in here for one on my way back to my office (30 min away). Despite having ample meat and cheese, they loaded it with so much vinegar and oil I couldn't even eat it as it was a soggy mess. I should have eaten it right away.I'm pretty disappointed.Quality products were used, just WAY too much V&O. Super friendly and clean atmosphere.

Vibe and staff super friendly, had a diner vibe with inside and outdoor seatings, no tipping; flavor is on the lighter side, crispy Tuscan chicken sandwich could have been a bit more crispy on the chicken, and the mozzarella would be better if melted.
