We came to Sorriso for the first time for brunch. Loved it! All the food was delicious and the staff very friendly! Must add if you’ve never been!

Sorriso has become one of my favorite brunch spots. The staff is always warm and accommodating, and we almost never have to wait for a table. The food is consistently delicious and feels thoughtfully put together. It’s an easy place to recommend when you want a relaxed and satisfying brunch.

My cousin and I had one of the most disappointing experiences at this restaurant. When we arrived, the older white host completely ignored us, no greeting, no eye contact, but warmly acknowledged the white guests who walked in right after us.

When she finally addressed us, she said our table for two wasn’t ready, even though we saw at least four clean tables open. Then she asked us to wait outside. Moments later, she seated the white party of two who arrived after us, followed by a group of five.

When I asked why we were skipped, she insisted the other party “was here first,” which was simply untrue. We even confirmed with another staff member that they don’t take reservations, it’s first come, first served, proving she was lying.

We waited, and no one ever texted us that our table was ready. We eventually left feeling disrespected and singled out.

Everything about this place is good. Their food is fresh and delicious. I always go for the steak and eggs skillet. The waffles are good too. The staff are very nice and they always try to accommodate us except the table next to their trash area. Terrible. Please push the table further out or to the other side. It’s a waste of space because no one wants to use it. Other than that, a great place and almost always open during public holidays.

Asked to add avocado to my sandwich. They took forever and charged significantly more, AND THEN NEVER PUT IN THE AVOCADO! The coffee was good though so two stars :)

Awful experience and awful food. Went there for breakfast and order a plate of pancakes. They were so dry and tasted like burnt toast. After complaining and swapping food because no way Im paying $20 for shit food. After that the kitchen staff and manager kept glaring and insulting me in Spanish. Awful place with worse service, DO NOT GO

Update after owners reply: You were out of the lemon ricotta at 11:30 am on Sunday. Friendly service. Good breakfast sandwich. Very basic diner style thick pancakes that got dry in a hurry. They can spice it up a bit with some berry compote, spreadable butter, or better syrup.
