It’s a great coffee shop ( I use that loosely) because it way more, they have huge selection of coffee (beans and ground if you like) and are passionate about coffee, they take their time to ask you what you like and offer choices. There is an old fashion feel to the place with candy and gift baskets. Would highly recommend it.

We had a very upsetting experience at this shop. I visited with my husband and two young toddlers. While the kids excitedly picked out wrapped candies from a large, clearly child-oriented display, the owner (a petite older woman with white hair) repeatedly came out from the back to sternly “shush” them— practically getting in their faces and reprimanding them harshly.
Despite being paying customers (we were also buying lattes and a large bag of beans), she continued to reprimand our toddlers several times, even very blatantly rolling her eyes and dramatically covering her ears at another mother with an infant in the store who looked equally shocked by her behavior. When we politely asked her to stop addressing our children that way, she told us we “need to learn to keep our kids quiet” and claimed her shop “isn’t a candy store for children and she needs it quiet for her other customers”—a baffling statement given the massive candy wall, and the fact that the other customer was also a young mother with a baby.
That same young mom later apologized to us for how uncomfortable the situation was and how awful she felt for us. She was visibly shook up too just by witnessing it.
If you have children, I strongly recommend avoiding this place. The owner clearly does not welcome families, and you’ll likely leave feeling embarrassed and unwelcome—for simply having kids behaving like kids in a candy store.

Disappointing. We stopped for a quick drip coffee, and after standing in line was told to get it ourselves and stand in line again. We're traveling from out of state and won't return.
Lovely place, good coffee

This place was a dream for Coffee Lovers! And the owner was the nicest and most helpful person in the world, they definitely made our weekend and helped us pick out some great fresh beans for our new espresso machine with our wedding gift certificate we had received. Will definitely be returning here!

The coffee is all sitting out exposed to air and light. The lightest roast offered is at best what I’d call medium roast. The purveyor chastised me for being wrong about what I was looking for. When I asked what the roast date was I received a meaningless “our beans are roasted everyday.” I asked for a pour over of their lightest and they didn’t measure the beans beyond a scooper. The pour over tastes sour and burnt. I’d have been better served by getting coffee at Starbucks or dunkin. DEFINITELY not buying beans from them.
Skip this place unless you’re looking for a gift package of expensive jelly.

Service and vibes are top notch and they don’t do the tipping jar scheme, coffee is very good for the price point; small nit for a few tiny bugs flying around in the store sniffing the coffee aroma, which could be a sanitary issue for many others.
Feel like a local spot to connect with the people in town.

Cute Little organized coffee shop. Atmosphere is great. They claim to business since 1869 and we could tell since the roast tasted like 19th century ?style . The only downside is that we ask for a medium roast and we got a burnt tasting coffee was not very pleasant still giving 4 stars though.

I teach in the area, and I enjoy coming here to get an afternoon coffee. There are so many choices available as self serve, and there is a large candy selection I usually make use of so the kids get something as well. I've also started buying pounds of coffee here for my home coffee and I haven't been disappointed yet.I feel lucky to have it so close by.

Great little coffee shop! I've been trying to stop here for years! Hard for me since they close at 3. The cold brew was delicious! Smooth and strong! The weather is perfect today for a T-shirt. They have several tables outside. Great place to finish a book or just let your thoughts melt away.
