We recently attended a birthday party here and while the space itself was cute and fun for the kids, the experience felt rushed and a bit unorganized. The staff didn’t clearly announce when it was time to sing happy birthday or give families a chance to gather and take pictures — things that are really meaningful at a celebration. It honestly felt like they were just trying to wrap things up and close quickly, which definitely isn’t the vibe you want during a birthday party. A little more communication and warmth from the staff would have made a big difference.

Great indoor play area for children. Bright colors & padded floors, wide variety of toys & play areas. They even have a little reading area. There is a separate area for infants too! A water & coffee bar is available. Please make sure everyone going into the play area is wearing socks, they are required.
Village Cafe is a wonderful venue for your child's next part as well. Ask the ladies for more info.

Came for a birthday party. This place is a dream for an adult attending a child's party. They have a child's play area and then outside of that they make coffee. As someone who didn't bring a kid, I very much spent time near the cafe and it was the way to go. For cake and pizza they move you to the back room. As we were leaving, they were preparing for the next birthday (a transition from Frozen to Cars theme, which they were doing with efficiency). The workers know what they're doing and run a tight ship, making the most of the 1.5 hour party. If I were 4 years old I'd definitely want my birthday to be here.

Most toys look like ppu.

Great for kids. Some toys are broken, the car ramp is cracked for the last year. The light in the playroom with the bathroom has a light that has not worked for the last year. Today, the toilets had no soap.

This place closed between 12-1.30pm.

This place was a gem when it opened! 2018? It USED to have..
In 2018-2020.(previous owners)

—The place had a Halloween party (kids marched around in a parade)
— a Xmas party with santa visited
—Zumbini classes (toddler Zumba)
—bakery items sold at the cafe,
— half price at 3:00
plus a hole punch card.( 8th visit = free)

Now it’s not the same.
BUT it still has….

-adults are free (so awesome!)
-multiple huge slide playgrounds
-huge eating drinking area
-has a baby section
-ride on cars

Improvements could be made…

-employees walking around picking up toys (other places have workers tidying up)
-the tv turned on in the eating section
-checking under and behind playground equipment removing pretend toys
-I wish the baby dolls had clothes
-events returning

This place is good with keeping capacity but the toys are so broken and majority of the toys don't work. They have a piano in the infant section with broken keys, 3 magnet pieces on their magnet wall, and a cat and dog toy that look filthy. I wish the toys can look nicer and they are constantly closing for a week. They should have consist schedule.

Unfortunately the play cafe has gone down hill! Pre covid with other owners I’d always see the girls working coming in and out of the play area to tidy toys up, now when you walk in the girls at the desk literally have their feet up on the counter and are on their phones, not once did they tidy the toys. Adults were walking around with no socks on and adults were walking around play area with coffees! What would happen if the hot coffee spilt on a child!?

So great. We came as a walk-in for free play on a rainy Tuesday, and it was so fun. My son is 20 months old and he played hard for about 2 hours. I even got to watch at the counter and drink my coffee while it was still hot. Very relaxed atmosphere. My son had a lot of fun and we will be back

Took my two year old here on a Monday morning about an hour after it opened. The free play window is from 9am-12:30pm. Nothing was were it was supposed to be. The "kitchen", "grocery store", "fire station" and other play areas had nothing in them. Everything was a mess. Not sure why there are so many positive reviews? Maybe a different time of day is better? No idea. But not worth it for us.Thanks for your response! Makes sense that the space was well used but I would still assume a staff member would periodically restock? If not it’s okay, just not for us

I booked this place for a Sunday party for my daughter at 4pm. I’ve heard good things so maybe my expectations were too high. But my husband and daughter weren’t even greeted when they got to the location. The party package says it comes with 2 hosts but I felt like we were constantly having to ask them questions or even look for some guidance as to when pizza and cake was planning on getting served? Maybe a little layout orientation of which play area and bathrooms? I have never been so I honestly didn’t know. I told my husband it felt like we were just made to figure things out ourselves lol. Had to keep asking for water and juice for kids as it just wasn’t made readily available. The hosts stayed behind the counter the whole time just talking to each other and not once really acknowledged me or my husband. At the end of the party we asked if we could take home two balloons for our kids and one of the hosts said yes but then when we asked for them they had popped them already and thrown it out? Not sure if the lack of enthusiasm and care was because the hosts were teenagers? But you should offer kids balloons to kids instead of just throwing it out right away. Ive already paid for them? Whats the rush in throwing it out ? Kids love balloons and would’ve had so much joy with them. The back bathroom didn’t have toilet paper. If you know you are hosting a party the bathroom should be well stocked ?When we were in the eating area for pizza and food they quickly cleaned up the playroom and turned off the lights even though we still had allotted time for the party. So my son who isn’t into cake or pizza and just wanted to play in the play area was basically told he couldn’t.Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend booking for a party. My experience was not worth the price of 1,000+ but it was cute and clean. My expectations were “Hi we are so and so we will be your hosts for the party! Gifts can go here. This is what’s available with your package again (coffee tea water juice ). you can get them by asking us on the counter and we can grab them for you. There are two bathrooms blah blah. This is the baby area blah blah blah. We plan on serving the food at this time. Blah blah blah if you guys need anything again my name is blah blah blah.”

It's a coffee shop but with a kiddie play area. You could come with a laptop and children. Get some work done while the kids run.

the level of uncleanliness in the bathroom was just awful.

Went a couple months ago, and kept meaning to write a review but never got around to it... anyway, the play space is good, but the cafe area was small and space was not available to sit- parents just hoard tables to themselves, it feel quite crammed. And the real reason I wanted to write the review was because there was one bathroom in the facility and it was truly disgusting. Poop on the seat, no toilet paper gross. It was so very unhygienic.
