The two of were celebrating our three year anniversary, we enjoyed the evening and will definitely be back.

The shrimp cocktail was excellent with 4 gigantic shrimp and a really good cocktail sauce. The fish was delicious, served with sautéed spinach and, some grape tomatoes and olives in a very light sauce. It was perfect. And to finish it off I had decaf cappuccino which was so good it was like dessert. The service was pleasant and efficient. I always enjoy my meal at Caffe Aldo Lamberti.

Always a great meal. My husband and I enjoy this restaurant. We will be returning. Highly recommend.

Cafe Aldo Lamberti provides the best selection of “real” Italian food in the South Jersey area. We enjoyed outstanding food and service, which made my wife's birthday a real treat. The noise level was a little high, but that is sadly a problem in most all restaurants these days. I would encourage anyone seeking an excellent dinner to hurry there.

We decided to go out for a 330 New Years Eve celebration. We had a beautiful table for 4 at the window . We ordered Stone Crabs as an appitizer, and they were excellent. The service was beyond good. Cipriano was one of the best servers we have ever had.... Professional, Patient, and Attentive. It was the perfect experience and wonderful way to bring in the New Years Eve.

Cafe Aldo Lamberti continues to be a benchmark for old-school, high-end Italian done right. This visit leaned hard into the raw bar and antipasti, and every bite reminded me why this place has such staying power. The crudo royale—immaculate fish, perfectly cut, simply dressed—was pristine. The clams and oysters were local, briny, sweet, and alive. The octopus with grilled baby artichoke was tender and deeply flavored. Aldo's kitchen knows exactly what it's doing, and it shows in the restraint as much as the execution. What elevates Cafe Aldo Lamberti beyond most is that it's ingredient-driven. They don't chase trends—they care about craft, sourcing, and precision. Even the service reflects that philosophy: waiters trained in the old ways, knowledgeable without being pretentious, attentive while still giving you space. Add to that the fact that they grow produce on site, in season—greens, beans, squash, tomatoes, figs—and the through-line becomes clear. We've eaten at Aldo more times than I can count. It remains seafood and Italian cooking at its most honest and refined. Pro tip: grab a bottle of their branded olive oil and some bread on your way out the door.

Choosing to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary at Caffe Aldo Lamberti was the best decision. Everything was amazing. My husband and I enjoyed the food, the wine, the beer and the atmosphere.

This was our first time, and we went for our anniversary. It was 10/10 and I would give it an even higher rate. Everything was AMAZING. The tomato pie they bring out for the table was so amazing that we are ordered a few for our Christmas Eve party. I had the salmon, and it was the BEST salmon I have ever had. Husband had the filet, and he stated the same. We will definitely be back!

Our waiter forgot my salad and my friend had a hard time getting her second glass of wine.

Our server, Francisco was so attentive, gave excellent suggestions (I absolutely loved the black bass) and was very kind..

This was my 4th visit to this restaurant and the first for my friend. It did not disappoint me and my friend loved it. We were there for lunch and I suggested the crab cake which we both ordered. We also shared the lobster salad. We both savored the delicious flavors and enjoyed the meal very much. Our waiter was very nice and answered all questions prior to ordering the food. It was a pleasant and enjoyable experience. I have to also add that I saw 2 other waiters that had waited on me several years ago. The wait staff is obviously happy working there

Another lovely Sunday lunch, with great cocktails, and delicious select fish dishes. Service is always top-notch, food quality is high, and the ambience is outstanding.

My husband and I celebrated our 5th anniversary at Aldo Lamberti, a restaurant we've admired from afar for years. Daily, we would pass by, often commenting on the joy we saw on the faces of patrons as they entered and left. Finally, the moment arrived when my husband presented me with a list of five restaurant options, and, as fate would have it, I chose Aldo Lamberti! From the moment we walked in, we were enveloped in a warm atmosphere that seamlessly blended coziness, friendliness, and a touch of intimacy — perfect for our special occasion. The menu was a delightful journey through authentic Italian cuisine, featuring dishes that transported us straight to Italy. Our waiter was exceptional—attentive, charming, and professional—making sure our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. It was evident that the management took great pride in their restaurant; the managers were visible and engaged, ensuring that every guest felt valued. Though we were eager to dive into our meal, the wait for our dishes was well worth it, as everything was prepared to order with great care. Each dish we tried was a revelation, with flavors that were rich and satisfying, tantalizing all our taste buds. The meal truly was a celebration of culinary excellence, and we couldn't have asked for a better way to commemorate our anniversary. Always a wonderful meal with excellent service! The menu and specials make it hard to decide, but I've always been pleased with whatever choice I make. Restaurant dining as it should be!
