Ordered delivery through doordash and my chimichanga was surprisingly crispy when it got here. I'm a vegetarian so I ordered the veggie one and it was filled with veggies and pretty tasty. Rice was just okay, but the "queso" if you can call it that was terrible. It looks like a mix between melted butter and cheese wiz and it has absolutely no flavor. It's so thin it drips off of the tortilla chips. Very disappointed that I paid $4 for the "queso" that is now going in the trash.

I have ordered from this place multiple times. I shouldāve stopped after the first time but, itās close to my house and I kept hoping it would get better. So thatās my fault. First of all the food is mediocre at best. Second the prices are astronomical. Third, they ALWAYS mess up the order. I always pick my food up bc I could throw a rock and hit it. Last time I ordered I asked for delivery bc I couldnāt leave my house, and they said it was only 20 min. I WAITED 98 minutes. They kept telling me it was on the way, then after an hour just stopped answering. I was walking out of my house to drive to another place to order food and the owner was in my driveway with the food (which was cold and disgusting btw). He apologized and said it was a busy time, and that the next order I made heād ātake care of me and give me my order for freeā mind you I spent 60$. I said ok I understand, and thanked him. I went to order there today due to time constraints ( bc honestly their food isnāt that great), and I was told that the owner said he would give me 2$ off my order. I actually only ordered 20$ worth of food bc I didnāt want to take advantage. I was told my order of 60$ would be free and they offered me 2 dollars. Iām SHOCKED this place is still in business, my guess is it only is bc of people like me, who want tacos and itās close. But seriously? Anyway this place is terrible. Over priced and not even good. š¤·š¼āāļø

10/10 Mexican restaurant! I am always looking for authentic quality food and this place is a 10 in my book which means a lot! Kid friendly, great food, great flavors, good portions. The agua fresca is delicious as well. Overall, great experience and awesome food. Highly recommend.

Absolutely LOVE Canela! The food is always on point - definitely my favorite Mexican restaurant in South Jersey. I often get the Enchiladas De Mole Poblano and they are amazing! I often have enough for two meals! We also frequently get the tacos which are so delicious, varied and a great price. We often order here if we are having friends over and ordering out - everyone is always impressed and friends even request it when they're coming over!

I absolutely love this place. Ingredients are always fresh and food is always hot. I have lived in Cherry Hill for 25 years and before that Pennsauken so Iām so mad that I never gave them a try before. Have been here on several occasions and they never disappoint.

I have never had a bad meal at Canela - actually, the food is really good. Their fried fish tacos, nachos and burritos are all āØ chefs kiss āØ. My only complaint is the wait time and disregard for customerās time. I ordered take out over the weekend and was told my food would be ready in 10-15 minutes. I arrived 20 mins later, food was still not ready - I was told to wait 10 more minutes, and this kept happening until it was almost an hour after I had placed my initial order. I wouldnāt have been upset had they just communicated that there would be delay but it was especially frustrating because I had my young family waiting the entire time in my vehicle. Additionally the staff were just giggling and hiding out in the kitchen and when they did come to the front actively avoided engaging (ie pretending not to hear when being spoken to - had to excuse me many times while looking right at each other). But again - no bad meals - they are often delayed but never this bad. I will give them another shot because they do make some of the best Mexican food in that particular area and the portions are reasonable.
Was so in the mood for enchiladas in a mole sauce and dear god did they not disappoint! š©
So authentic, the sauce itself was so rich and flavorful with the perfect amount of heat. The chicken inside was so tender and not dry at all.
I was actually really depressed when I looked down and realized I was finished. Will be coming back for sure!!!
